Only then does Jason turn so he can hold his phone up basically selfie mode with the manor behind him.]

Lil D, it looks like your dad sent a gift. I dont think it works that way but, I filled out the paperwork with the agent and we have the place to ourselves. And I mean that to everyone who can see this.

Jon, I have an idea by the way so I want to talk to you when I pick you up after school.

Cass and Blondie, your both in to. If you want. Wally and Roy, if you want there is room.

Ready for the serious scary talk time?

[ Jon has been wracking his brain over what it could be. Nothing really springs to mind. ]

[ Jason couldn't help looking at Jon like he had grown a second head.]

No.. Jon, you kind of need to not be single to get married, that or drunk in Vegas, and we don't have Vegas here. That and I don't believe in marriage anyway.

[ He shakes his head some. ]

No, I wanted to talk about the future of this house, of your house.

[ Jon immediately tenses up. Had something happened to Bucky? He had said the house was safe. ]

Well, the manor's showed up, and it's in my name now.You know how we were running out of room here, so I was thinking, instead of putting money we are short on, into renovating this house, we all move into that one, and rent this one out, and put all the money made from renting into an account for just you to use. Since this, first and foremost, is your house.

I want to know your thoughts.

[She's in the middle of packing a big camper's backpack when she answers. Camping trip outside of the wall is nearly go!! Cass honestly feels...odd about the offer, given that she hasn't ever lived at the manor, but.]

[Cassandra isn't going there without her, and she has a feeling Stephanie might need some convincing.]

[ Despite it all, Jon feels a pang in his heart. This was his house. Where he and his parents moved in. It meant a lot to him and while they're not getting rid of it . . . But he had to be practical about it too. ]

I mean . . . it makes sense.

Well, I guess I'll have to move into this big house of yours if I have no choice.

[ Wally doesn't look bothered by this in the least. Not only does the manor give the group more space, but it means they can put off the renovations they had planned. ]

Do you think the others will be okay with the move?

I thought it did, but I also know how it feels to have adults make choices without asking. Which is why I ask how you feel about it. Anything made off renting this house out will be yours, and yours alone. I promise that. With Wally and the others moving into the manor with us, money wont be as tight and we wont trip all over each other.

[ He puts a hand on Jon's head then and smiles the rare old Robin smile down at him.]

But, you and Little D are the two whose opinions matter to me. I didn't do all that work to get custody just to upset you guys.

Damn right you do, I cant handle these kids on my own, and your better than a dirt devil when it comes to speed cleaning.

[ Jay was a neat freak and couldn't help it. Just a side effect of his many problems. ]

It's okay. The house isn't where family is. It's not the important part.

So, want to come look over your new home?

Absolutely. Is my room big?

Of course it is, and actually you get a choice, because there are a lot of empty rooms, but there is a room full of red if you want it.

[ He starts towards the door for the car.]

Just because my uniform's red and blue doesn't mean it's my favourite.

Well, it's mine and I wont even deny it. What is your favorite color?
