I'm not sure how many people she was able to tell about this, but it looks like D.Va is gone now. She got a chance to go back home and finish fighting the war in her own world.

I guess its a chance any one of us would have taken if they had been given it, but... she will be missed.

[He's really trying not to look sad about this, but it is rather hard. He had been close to her and now... she wasn't there]

I just though everyone should know.

I don't either. I mean it makes sense. But it's so... final to hear. Someone telling you not to wait for them.

[He seems to be caught between understanding and not. She was the first person he'd opened up to on such an emotional level for a long time though]

[Keith reached over and put his hand on Shiro's shoulder.]

[He reached up to put his hand over Keith’s]

I know eventually it will get easier, but right now...

Yeah.

[Keith gave Shiro a soft smile.]

I'm here for you if you need anything.

I know you are. And I appreciate that. I guess I just need time to adjust to this.

[Keith nodded.]

Yeah. [If there was anyone that knew about loss, it was Keith.] It'll take time.

[But, if anything, Keith was willing to be there for Shiro, to share whatever from his own experiences that Shiro might need. Most of it, Shiro probably even already knew. He was one of the few people Keith willingly opened up to. But, if he needed it, Keith would do it again.]

[Shiro nodded again] I know it will.

Stay and talk for a bit?

Of course.

[Keith stayed close, sitting next to Shiro on the couch as a form of unspoken support. Not quite touching, but close enough that his presence could be felt. He wanted Shiro to know he was there, but not to feel crowded.]

[Shiro did appreciate that little bit of space. He didn't necessarily need Keith to be that close to him]

I think Black is going to miss her too.

Yeah. I know Red is. She liked the idea that we could race each other with Hana's meka.

[Keith smiled a bit. Yeah... they'd raced...]

That sounds like it would have been fun. Too bad Black's not much for racing. Otherwise...

[He might have tried it to see if Black could have beaten the Meka]

I wonder if Red could goad Black into a race...

[Keith smirked a little. It would be kind of fun, really. Though, Red was the faster Lion anyway. She had the most speed out of all five of them. That, her smaller size, and Keith's experience over Pidge had been the main reasons Keith was the one that had to chase Rolo through the asteroid field to recover Blue.]

She might able to try.

[Like Black was going submit to that sort of thing... okay, given the right situation they might be able to get Black to do it, but at the moment, the grumpy cat is going sit down in his corner]

[Keith chuckled a bit at the reaction. Could robot lions pout? Apparently, they could. He shrugged.]

Yeah. Maybe.

[Well, Shiro did believe that Black was more concerned with protecting them than having fun so in a way he was being a spoilsport, but it was not for no reason]

I'm sure she'd be willing to try.

[Keith laughed a bit.]

You have no idea.

[Red rumbled, her tail twitching a little in annoyance that Black was so against it.]

[Black rumbled back as though talking to Red about this whole racing thing. It was easy to tell it was to her because Shiro couldn't hear it, but also because he was looking right at her]

Now I'm curious if she'll win.

She might. Short of Black's ability to teleport, I think Red's faster.

[Red lifted her head and tail a little. If a robot lion could look smug, that was it right there.]

She is the faster lion. Honestly, though he might win with the teleporting ability, its not really fair in the spirit of a race.

[And now the lion is going to turn and look at Shiro... which was oddly creepy. Really, Shiro? Really?]

[Keith chuckled.]

Yeah... it would definitely be an unfair advantage.

I guess, if we really wanted to do it, a straight run wouldn't be something we could do. We'd have to make it interesting.

No, we'd definitely need some obstacles. Red probably has the advantage on a straight course. It may get more interested when it's a little harder.

[Were the paladins really still talking about this?]

[Yup, and Red was getting excited about it. Come on... it would be fun!]

It definitely would be.

Though, you might want to have a harness or something before we try to pull something like this off. I can take you to the guy who made mine for Red.

[Black is grumbling again. Red will probably be happy with the response]

Sounds like he's finally giving in.

Yeah, probably do need something if its a race. Normally I can stay on just fine, but he's not trying to go at speed.

Sounds like a plan, then. I can introduce you to Cisco. He really liked Red. I can only imagine what he might think of Black.

Yeah I'd appreciate that. I can ride him without a harness or anything like that, but if he's going to race that could be hard.

He might be impressed though. Black's pretty big.
