How long do you think such things will last? Because time outlives it all.

It's just something I've heard a lot of people wish for back home. The idea itself sounds great, but there's always a catch.

That is usually the case. Mortals aren't built for long lives anyway. They cannot contain it.

I'm not interested in immortality, but I've heard plenty of tales of men who spent their whole lives searching for it.

Yes, it does seem to be a goal for many mortals.

Would you consider your own immortality to be more of a curse? Or do you have mixed feelings about it?

I've lived with it all my life. It would be hard for me to consider it as anything but normal.

I could say the same about my mortality. It's almost funny how we tend to wonder what we might be like if we had another person's attributes, but I try not to waste too much time worrying over it. I work with what I have, and that's how it's been my whole life.

Maybe in the end, that's all any of us can do, mortals and immortals alike.
