Well... I haven't really done much for my birthday in a long time. But, when I was a kid, Dad would take me out to pick pumpkins to decorate for Halloween with. Late October is good for that. Or, we'd go to a haunted house. Or a fall festival... His fire department had those a lot. If he wasn't on duty, that's what we'd do.
