Or you can come find me. I'm staying on the 12th floor and I'm working at the Fiery Chariot Car Service (Hell of a name, that).

[He grins broadly again.]

Have you considered that perhaps they don't really have all the components in easy supply? So they raise the price because of the rarity?

They figured out sometime in recent years that those things give you cancer. [Who would have guessed? He used to sell black market cigarettes on base, and trade the cigarettes from his ration packs for chocolate and comics. With a modern perspective, the implications are a lot less nostalgic.]
