[At first when the video feed clicks on it shows a ceiling but then with the noise of someone knocking things around the camera angle swings wide and downwards, revealing a mop of shaggy hair and then a kind face with blue eyes and the kind of stubble that speaks laziness rather than style, grinning widely enough to show off some perfectly white teeth.] Well hey there... city? I mean I guess I'm talkin' to all y'all at the same time.

[The feed moves as Drew stands, taking his phone device with him.] This thing is a hell of a lot fancier than my cell at home I mean look, 'm basically in HD. [Cue a moment of preening after that particular Texan drawl, the bartender looking at himself for a minute, satisfied with the results.] But uh yeah, guess I'm kinda gettin' off track here. The names Andrew Warner, but my friends call me Drew... so basically all of y'all can call me Drew 'cause we're all gonna be friends, right? [There's a look of glowing optimism in his face because Drew didn't exactly make enemies to begin with.]

Guess life here is kinda like life home, I mean with the basics at least, I'm gonna be tendin' a bar here, so I hope at least some of you like to drink. [He nods at that, as if to himself, it was basically home sweet home... just with some glaring differences that he wasn't going to get into right now because they worried him.]

Thought I'd introduce myself at least... but one last thing. [He grins, eyes suddenly glowing a supernatural blue, the focus of the camera changing momentarily.] Any other werewolves out there? Guess I'm kinda in the business for an alpha.

( Drew can't see it, but the look Damian gives the device is one that says he might have gotten hit if they were talking face to face. )

I mean yeah totally. It ain't like, I dunno, people with blonde hair but there's still a pretty heavy amount of us.

[Drew is lucky they are not face to face he doesn't want to face the hellbeast's wrath.] You're thirteen? Wow. I got a kid sister about your age, least I think she's thirteen now. Nice to meet ya, Damian.

[ For this, he will wrangle this phone. The tail end of this post might as well be a siren call to Jean-Claude. He has felt tremendously odd without anyone else here at all either under his hand or at his level, and is concerned with rebuilding his power base as fast as possible.

Not that he will term it that way, of course.

Jean-Claude even over video might as well scream vampire: he has an unearthly, distracting sort of beauty, a strong masculine jawline paired with deep blue eyes and long, gently curled black hair. The ruffled white shirt with a high collar is not exactly modern, either, and he speaks with a French accent. His voice, incredibly, is his best feature, low and carrying the physical sensation of fur behind it. ]

What a provocative statement to make to the public. [ Amusement caresses his tone. ] I was not aware one could shop for an alpha. But to my knowledge, I have not encountered another werewolf here, so you may be, as they say, out of luck.

[ Or is he? Nope, no ulterior motives here. ]

[Drew bartended a supernatural bar and with that, he'd seen a lot of different supernatural types out there. One thing was certain, he knew a vampire when he saw one. Especially if the vampire was hot. Damn those vampires and their otherworldly beauty.

When he speaks its with a smooth drawl.] Well hey there talk dark dead an' handsome! [He grins though, there's clearly no malice behind the words.] Are y'shittin' me? Not a single one? And hey, some of us wolves are just ready to roll over for the right guy, that's as close to alpha shoppin' as y'can get.

[ He's reminded of Jason so strongly that he can't help smiling with a touch more sincerity and less sultriness than usual. It still has that distinctly amused overtone, but Jean-Claude is not nearly as fussy (poncy?) as he portrays visually. There is a vast difference between true disrespect and casual friendliness, and he can recognize it. ]

Merci, that is too kind. [ Jean-Claude gets told how beautiful he is on a nigh-constant basis-- it is literally why he is a vampire, and then all of his vampiric powers are based on it as well. But that just makes him egotistical about it. It's nice to be acknowledged, especially while he's still feeling ill-at-ease and vulnerable. ] I cannot say if there is not a single one, but I have, hm, some affinity for wolves, and I have not run across another in the few days I have been here.

I will say, it does you a credit to be so at ease with your position within the pack. Some... struggle. [ And with werewolves that basically ends like it does with vampires: violently. ]
