One of the things people don't do often is talk about the good things they've done or have right now. Sometimes being away from home is hard, so sharing helps!

So what's one good thing in your life right now? Yesterday, I got a cat out of a tree! It wasn't very happy but the owner thanked me a lot.

It's fine, pumpkin, it's not like we had a super rough life, we just had to make do. Growing up like that is half of why I'm good at cooking.

I mean, not to get all emotional up in here, but I spent a century with the same six other people, living and dying together.

They're my family, too.

My dad has something like that. Batman and Wonder Woman. They're super close.

But I just don't see that happening for me.

I guess I've met some cool people here in Riverview. They all try to look out for me.

And no offense, but you're like, ten. Life is gonna change a lot.

I've seen crazy stuff at the age of ten.

Not saying you haven't, but at ten there's no way I thought "you know what maybe I'm gonna join a scientific institute and end up on a mission travelling across the planar system".

You never know what's coming.

I saw the future once, but the whole experience was kind of trippy.

I mean, there's a reason a lotta divination wizards are kinda loopy.

It's a school of magic, seeing hidden things and looking into the future and shit like that. It's one of the more like, wishy-washy schools.

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

Transmutation is way cooler. I guess evocation is alright too.

I have no idea what those words are.

Transmutation is my wheelhouse, turning shit into other shit, like wood into gold or people into frogs.

Evocation is damage, fire and lightning and all that rad stuff. Lup's an evocation wizard, she likes blowing shit up.

Ohhh. Those are big words for something really simple.

That's wizards for you, little man. Most of them are just huge nerds.

I guess there's nothing wrong with that.
