I know I've told some of you about this already, and maybe other people heard about it from Wanda, but I'm just gonna make this official without sending out engraved invitations. We're gonna have a dinner on April 15th at the Riverview Community Center; I rented a room there so that we'd all have a place to fit. I figure that if we're all gonna end up working together at some point or another, then we'd better get to know each other first - and, let's be real, we all have questions about these parallel universes.

Before you ask, yes, you can bring a guest, just give me a heads up so I know how many people to prepare for. And it's a potluck, so make sure to bring something - buy a dish or make it, whatever you feel most comfortable with. I can't feed all you people and a couple of super-soldiers on what the Perimeter Guard pays, okay?

[Sam grins at the camera. He can't resist the urge to poke a little fun at Steve(s).]

If there's anything I haven't thought of or if you have any special dietary restrictions that aren't eldritch horrors, just let me know.

So long as the people they're bringing aren't intending to gawk or treat the dinner as some sort of entertainment they're outside of, I suppose that's alright.

[She guesses? It was her understanding that at this dinner they'd be getting to know one another and the differences or similarities between them and their worlds but she could have assumed wrong. Opening up to invited strangers doesn't appeal to her but then again she doesn't open up easily in general.

I was thinking I'd see if someone would go hunting outside the perimeter and bring a bunch of meat back, maybe do a barbecue. Best way to feed a lot of people, and then everyone else can take care of the sides and whatnot.

[.....hopefully. Realistically, Sam will probably end up making a bunch of side dishes and desserts anyway.]

[Wanda purses her lips together, considering his response. In theory she could try to go hunting, her powers make her formidable, but hunting animals isn't the same as monsters and she really doesn't know the first thing about handling an animal carcass.]

Maybe speak to the surveyors or perimeter guard, see if they'll do the hunting for you in exchange for some of the meat?

Nobody said anything about catering to anyone. You can cook whatever you want.

[He feels like he should probably put limits on that, but also thinks that Loki has enough pride in his cooking to want to make good food.]

Where would this date take place? At the dinner?

Please. Do I look that unclassy? Wanda and I have a house now. I can make you a nice dinner, we can watch a movie if you want. Never let it be said that I don't know how to treat a lady.

[It gives him an antsy feeling at best. At worst...let's just say it might ruin an otherwise perfectly enjoyable night.]
