I've met Thor, and he seems noble.
( But a god? No. )
The Great Stallion of the Dothraki isn't here as well, is he? Or the Seven new gods of Westeros.
They never answer any prayers, either. And those of my ancestors certainly would not. I don't believe in so-called higher beings; only myself.
You'd do best to regard yourself in a similar light.
