Video | @fraulein.zweihander | June 10th
[The video starts with a short, pudgy teenager with blonde hair. Sieglinde doesn't often draw attention to herself without her armor on, so for some this might be the first time they've seen the young knight without her helmet.
Regardless of how familiar they are with her face, however, it's pretty clear that she's not doing so hot. Her skin is pale, with an almost greenish complexion, and her her eyes have a glazed, milky hue to them.
To some this might be a strange an alien look, but anyone from Sieglinde's own world would be able to recognize what she is: An undead. And one in need of some Humanity, from the looks of it.]
Hello. My name is Sieglinde of Catarina.
Lately, I've been looking for a purpose in this place. My work in the perimeter guard is important, but I'm looking for something more - a sort of goal to drive myself toward.
[She's getting a little side-tracked with that bit, but she self-corrects.]
Anyway, I've been thinking of getting into brewing with my free time. Many of my family members are brewers, so it's a craft I understand well enough.
I'd need equipment, though, and a place to do it - I'm certain the other guards would frown upon it if I were to attempt such things in the barracks. I've some money saved up - does anyone know where I might find such a place to rent? This place is so different than anyplace I've ever lived, I'm not quite sure where to start.

Voice - @lolococo416
*Lola is so subtle, but at least the concern is genuine in her voice.*
Voice; @fraulein.zweihander
...No? I don't wear make-up, Lola.
no subject
And that just would be weird.
no subject
[Which is a distinctly different concept, where she comes from. Her tone of voice is confused and hurt.]
Are you making fun of me, Lola?
no subject
*That's not better, Lin. It is a different sort of weird, yes, but still weird.*
W-what, why would you say that!?
no subject
[Longer than that, even. She can recall leaving her home in Catarina months ago, before she could be captured and thrown in the asylum for her curse.]
Are you all right? We've had this conversation before - do you honestly not remember?
no subject
*Lola misses things here or there. She didn't notice the planet in the sky for a week. But she's pretty sure even with club lighting she'd spot someone who wasn't alive!*
We definitely didn't talk about this before.
no subject
I know I've been here a few months without humanity, and I might be starting to show it, but I'm certain we've spoken about this.
You're certain you're feeling well?
no subject
But that wouldn't be enough to make me forget something this... weird. I mean I'm pretty sure I'd have remembered given how many people here have powers over the dead. It's kinda weird how much of that comes up.
no subject
[It's strange to her how most worlds don't seem to have that distinction, but where she comes from that's sort of the whole metaphysical problem with the undead - they're this sort of gray area that no one has real control over.]
It is strange how many people are like that, though. Riverview truly is a strange place.

And definitely the sort of weird I'd make note of. It completely changes the sort of make-up and clothing I can suggest!
*See, Lola has a perfectly good reason to have paid attention and remembered this is how things were. Cause this isn't how things were!*
