I learned not too long ago that there was a man calling himself Frankenstein here. I was wondering if anyone recalled him, and if so, could you tell me everything you remember about him? I would appreciate it.

I'm not good at discerning colors, but that sounds right.

[ because al is always polite. but then he pauses. ed said that? it's not entirely... wrong per se. but most people who attempt human transmutation either die first or are horribly mutilated. much like he and ed had been. not that you can tell now that al's regained his body, but he still looks 13 despite being 18. ]

It's not common at all because it's such a taboo.
One of the first rules of alchemy is to never preform human transmutation.
Most alchemists aren't even capable of doing it and living,
much less capable of dealing with the repercussions.
There are no recorded cases of human transmutation,
that is bringing back the dead,
having been successful.

[ mostly because nobody knows that he and ed had successfully brought each other back to life. it's not something they talk about with strangers. ]

[he thinks about this. It's fascinating to him how other worlds work. He personally studied alchemy in school with the thought that he could use it in his work. He can't help feeling a little pleased that the theory does hold some merit, if only in another world]

He brought up the subject because I mentioned my arm. I'm not sure why that has anything to do with reviving the dead in your land.

You're username is Prometheus which is the Greek God who had created life and Frankenstein also created life. The connection is too relevant for me not to ask. Are you Frankenstein's monster looking for dear old dad? I don't like using the word monster because I don't think the created creature was bad but I don't know his name.

Maybe this Frankenstein has nothing to do with the story at all. I don't know, which is why I'm asking.

Well, technically, Frankenstein is the name of the scientist in the story; not his creation. So if you're Frankenstein, looking for Frankenstein, it sounds like you're trying to find yourself.

Why would it have been your brother? Is he also named Frankenstein?

I do. Not many people remember it, as "Frankenstein" is much more iconic.
