[ when the feed clicks on, there is a somewhat annoyed and tired looking face staring into the void. his hair is a mess and, despite being located in a bed in the communal housing area, he looks like he hasn't been friends with sleep for at least half a decade if those dark circles under his eyes are to be believed. at least he bothers to open his eyes when he addresses the network, voice rough and with a distinct southern drawl.

So I get that there's a jungle and a whole lotta forest out there along with shit that no one really wanted to delve into detail about but, anyone know if there's a swamp? Maybe a marshy area? Fuck, even a squishy patch of moss an' shit would be nice. Ain't gonna be much use if I can't find one of those.

Also for those that might know, how the fuck does magic work here? Like-- I get there are 'things' beyond the walls and all but-- what about werewolves? Other witches? How do you cast a fucking circle here? Also, where the fuck do I get the strongest whiskey?

That's a relief. [Izzy would complain about him being sarcastic, but she could walk knee deep in mud and still never get dirty. He still isn't sure how she manages that but it's a skill that he'll never learn.] Thank you of thinking of me first.

That kind of magic sounds limiting unless you live where that energy is. [Magnus would go crazy if that was how his magic worked.] There were ones that allowed customers to swap bodies. Ones that temporarily gave them magic or animal traits. The bar was decorated the way that most beings expect for Halloween when their host has magic.

It isn't limiting, I mean-- I am from the part of Texas that is more swamp than anything else so, that was never an issue for me. Never tried to work magic without it, though it might be possible. [ Sage kind of thinks that , since he is attuned to the weird mix of life and death and rebirth energy that is the swamp, he might be okay with other sources of magic. but none of them would favour him the way the swamp does. ] Wait, body swapping! Damn that sounds fucking amazing, count me the fuck in the next time there is a warlock party!

His magic is amazing. [Is it obvious yet that Alec thinks his husband is a genius?] I'm not sure how often he'll break out that potion, but if you ask, you might get him to agree to make it again before next Halloween.
