[When Freya appears on the screen she has her usual friendly smile but also bright red hair. Her fingers run through the silky strands a few times before she remembers that she's already turned on her device.]

Hi! For those who don't know, I'm Freya and today if Pi Day! [She's a total nerd and loves this holiday.] If you don't know what Pi Day is, ask Victor. It has to do with circles and math.

You know what else is a circle? Pie.

On the topic of pie, I would like some for Pi Day but I can't bake to save my life and I don't know where the best pie in Quarantine is. So I need your help! Hit me up and we can all celebrate Pi Day together. Any pie is good. I'm not picky. Except I can't eat anything with chocolate in it. There's a whole deathly allergic thing.

[A beat.]

I also dyed my hair red.

[In case it went unnoticed.]

It's my old AIM name back when that was first a thing. Everyone had numbers on their user names and I've kept mine since then.

Right, the internet. We don't really use that much in our town.

Understandable.

AIM is like texting but using computers instead of phones. It's now no longer supported in my world and obviously it never existed here but I've had the same online handle since middle school. The numbers were selected for me, like they assumed that everyone would pick the same things.

[jolting]

Makes sense. I can see "wolfgirl" being a popular handle.

[luckyescape]

Yeah, I was not a creative child. I like to think I've gotten better since then.

[At least with her ridiculous naming scheme's]

Obviously. You've dyed your hair now. [he smiles, ruffling his own bleached hair]

Yes! Dyed hair is a mark of creative ingenuity.

[Freya's lips break into a warm fit of laughter. She doesn't know Victor all that well but she likes him.]

[jolting]

Obviously. And I'm sure it looks nice on you.

[he can sort of see that it's darker, but that's about it]

[luckyescape]

I'm sure I'll run into you some time between now and when the dye wears off.

[Freya will miss her blonde hair in a few weeks so she probably won't redye it.]

It's not like you're a stranger Doctor.

[jolting]

Ah. Well, that's true.

[luckyescape]

[Freya laughs softly.]

See, I think of everything!

[jolting]

[he smiles a little]

This is going to sound strange, but you remind me of someone. She's a wolf girl, too.

[luckyescape]

Oh?

[She does not remember telling him that she's actually a wolf so she keeps that detail to herself for the time being.]

Can I ask about this mysterious wolf girl?

[jolting]

Her name's Ruby. I guess your red hair made me think of her, too.

[luckyescape]

That's a fitting name for a red head.

Did this wolf girl also have red hair? And wait, was she actually a wolf?

[jolting]

No, she just wore the color a lot. And... well, she was Little Red Riding Hood, so the wolf is connected to her.

[he doesn't feel right telling this girl that Ruby IS the wolf]

Is that why her name is Ruby? Because she's little red?

[That sounds cool.]

And you're Victor Frankenstein. Okay, I follow. That's cool. I imagine that the stories are a little different from the people but I get the idea.

[jolting]

Well, I actually don't know if her name is Ruby. That's just what everyone calls her. But she's certainly not "little", and calling her "Red Riding Hood" all the time would be weird.

I'd say our stories are a lot different, but enough's the same from what people are familiar with.

Yeah. You could probably call her Red. That's a really cool nickname though if she was pretty then Ruby is better. Did you know that the difference between clear ruby and red ruby is one negative ion? It completely changes the color.

I think that's neat.

[It's just one of the random pieces of information that Freya has learned over the years.]

I'd like to hear your stories sometime though I imagine they're personal.

[jolting]

Yeah, I know that about rubies.

[he shrugs] Read the book, watch the James Whale movie. That about covers it.

[it really doesn't, but close enough... ish]

I have done both of those things.

I'd try and suggest a movie or book to describe my life but really nothing is coming to mind.

[She'll have to think on that.]

I'd be pretty surprised if there was one.
