I’ll be fine, christ you nag worse than my mother ever did- [Obviously this wasn’t working as well as she hoped, face paling slightly as there was an uncomfortable-sounding crunch and breathless cursing that followed the irritated reply.]

Hey, so if any of you teleporters are paying attention, I could use a little help here. And heads up to the hospital, you're gonna have a pain in the ass coming in real soon. [Sam glances away from the camera for a moment and pinches the bridge of his nose as he adds an aside] Stephen, you need to go to the fucking hospital, legs don't bend like that.

Please, someone get here and shut him up. Doesn't look like anything life-threatening, but he's got broken legs and god knows what else. And he's in the shittiest mood I've ever seen him in, and that's saying a lot.

One of those weird canisters from home - you know how Thor got one and he lost an eye? Well, Stephen's all beat up and has a couple of broken legs and refuses to get his dumb ass to the hospital because he doesn't think it's necessary.

[There's just. A long-suffering sigh. Sam's clearly willing to wait, but man, he's tempted to knock Stephen unconscious so he'll stop arguing with him.]

[Sam swears under his breath for a moment before he looks at Stephen again.]

Stephen, you have multiple compound fractures. Lord only knows what else is broken.

[And if he finds out who or what did this to Stephen, he'll cross a few universes to beat the shit out of them. Sam might be capable of remaining extremely calm in situations like this, but that doesn't mean he's happy about it.]

You can't even walk right now. I don't know how you're still arguing instead of screaming in pain.

See, the thing about compound fractures - that's the kind where there's bone literally poking through your skin and you have blood on your pants, you absolute jackass - is that they don't really wait for you to rest. It's more of an immediate medical attention kinda deal.
