[Video Post] un:redbird
[Tim has finally decided to rekindle an old hobby and get himself a camera. The video opens to a medium-sized mirror, from which you can see Tim holding up an SLR, dressed casually with a warm jacket, like he might be about to go out.]

It's been a while since I held one of these. Hope I haven't gotten rusty. [Tim smiles a bit wryly, thinking about the last time he'd held a camera.]
More importantly, I'm thinking of shooting a calendar to raise some additional funds for a couple of community activities. I'm open to theme suggestions, if anyone has any.
If you're feeling braver than that, I'm heading out now to get a feel of things if anyone wants to be a test subject.
Just make sure you're not afraid of heights. [A grin for that, but you've been warned.]

[Audio]
My thoughts exactly. What's your ETA? [ You can hear some water rushing in the background. ]
[Audio]
Did you bring anyone with you? [The wind sound is definitely speeding up.]
no subject
No. [ Jon is in school, where children should be, not Damian. He is not a child and shame on you for making that mistake. ]

I'm not saying the education's much, but you're supposed to socialize and learn how to deal with kids your own age. [The sound of an engine. Tim has brought the bike. He has no idea if bikes were allowed out of the city, but if it means getting to the forest faster it's probably worth it.]

I walked out of recess. [ Big difference. He stayed for the class, answered the question, got the class assigned 200 pages of reading. Which serves them right for not doing the assigned reading in the first place! All and all it was a productive few hours. ]
I'd rather not. I talk to Kent. That's more than enough interaction with children.

You'll need more than one best friend.
no subject
I'm taking things slow. [Excuse you. He has more than ONE friend. He has a team of friends. They're just on another planet right now!]
I'm here and you are to be here within 10 minutes. Don't be late and stop testing my patience. [And with that he hangs up.]
>>[Action]
Damian? [He calls out, looking around. Come on you little gremlin where are you?]
no subject
The wet cat look you might be sporting likely isn't going to help your miffed state... and Damian is fine with that.]
no subject
Damian! [He wades back out of the water, glaring and dripping wet.] When I said act your age, I didn't mean 'be five'.
no subject
Just testing your reflexes. [ He crosses his hands behind his back and raised a dark brow. ] You failed by the way.
no subject
You and Jason have no respect for good tech that doesn't blow up. [Tim wrings the worst of the water out, pushing his hair back so he looked a little less like wet dog.] If I catch a cold, you're going to catch it too, you know.
[And he had a 78% chance of catching one now. Great job, Damian.]

You're just as whiny as my Drake too. Some things just never change. [ This Drake looks more delicate than his too, which was odd since this one was supposed to be older. ]
You want to look for some creatures or do we need to stop and build you a fire because you're scared you'll get the sniffles? [ He waves off and starts to head towards the trees. ]
no subject
Can't walk around like this, no. [Tim's already starting to shiver a bit- it's not quite warm enough for a dip.] And you know I-- [Had Jason told him? Maybe not. Did Damian need to know? Some part of him recoiled at the idea of handing Damian more ready ammunition. He might not be his Damian, but he had his pride. More than anyone, he didn't want to be weak in front of him.]
--can't sneak up on anything squelching around like this. Lucky for me I brought my uniform. [He headed back to the bike and fished out the backpack that had it. Never leave home without, kids.]

Besides the noise had a purpose. He was out here for the beast and well... let's just say he was chumming the water. Relax though, it's not like he made you bleed or anything. He just wanted the noise. ]
The noise is just what we need. [ He hears the hum of large bug wings in the trees and a growl bubble from the water. He smirks at Drake's retreating back. ]
Yes, very lucky you brought your uniform.
no subject
What did you call? [Tim's gaze darts between the water and the treeline. Two of them?]
no subject
Whatever it is, they're attracted to sound... [ He cocks the gun he stole from Todd's room and takes his hoodie off revealing the two Eskrima Sticks he'd taken from Grayson's room, tucked into his belt. ]
So keep talking. [He throws a throwing knife, nailing a large gator right between the eyes as it pops out of the water towards Drake. ]
no subject
When you said--[R-discs thrown, wedging into its thorax.] --you wanted to photograph the local wildlife, you did realize we need to be at a distance?
[He's starting to wonder if the Al Ghuls just couldn't find a tutor who taught common sense.]
no subject
What fun is that? You said you were feeling brave, didn't you? [ And in a place like this, finding action was a desperate search. ] Besides, some action shots are far more compelling and the town is in need of some creature clearing after the flood.
[ He shot one of the wasps out the sky, clipping its wing to make it fall. ]Two birds one stone. [ He runs off taking Tim's staff out his hand and using it as a spring to drop kick a creature towards the trees. ]
Stop complaining and take some pictures!

[It rankles to follow Damian's orders, but it's a great shot. Tim slides the camera up and takes it just as another crocodile bursts out of the water.]
1/2
[ Even with Drake's complaints he still hears the camera shutter. He smirks letting instinct slide in, move his body. Punching a gator was a pleasantly familiar feeling. 'Wonder what killer Crock is up to?'
In his struggles to try and come off as normal, it felt good to just switch off and let go. He flips sideways to avoid the gator taking a bite of him. ]
2/2
[ Damian growls when he notices the staff back in his possession. He slams a foot on a different gator's jaw to keep it closed and fires the gun, grazing the gator lunging at him and taking it off course so that it slams jaw first into a large tree.
His eyes not leaving Drake even as blood splattered his cheek and the tree behind him cracked. ]

And I was using it first.[Speaking of, Tim tucks the camera under an arm to fend off another gigantic wasp- just their luck if they kicked up a hornets nest in here- reversing the staff to thrust into its abdomen and electrocute it.]
no subject
[ Damian smirks as he gleefully wrestles a gator. ] Wha-- When did you add that? [ He says indignantly at Drake's staff. He hadn't gotten around to customizing his staff yet, but he was so going to do that you idea stealer! He really hated not having his gear here. ]
no subject
I boobytrapped my uniform back then, too. [He looks around, but there don't seem to be any other monsters forthcoming. He eyes the crocodile carcass.] Don't think picutres of that will be useful to anyone. Let's find something else. Before something finds these.
