Um... so, I think something happened? I don't know if it was from those flowers, or what... but, I'm... yeah.

[Keith put his arms out. His jacket was clearly way too big for him. The collar of his t-shirt was a good three inches lower on his chest than it should be. But, he had nothing else to wear.]

Does anyone have some clothes I can borrow for a while? Even if it's just for today so I can get something on my own to have until this wears off?

I don't really think anything I have will help, but I can probably find you some things to wear from a store. Or ask Laura if she has something...

Not a clue. No one's been able to tell me. I hope it's soon...

[Did he sound dejected and worried? Because he was. He really didn't want to have to go through growing up again... He sighed.]

I mean, I just need something for today, really. I can go get something else. But I've got nothing to get out of the house with.

[At her question, though, he hummed a bit.]

I think... I think it was one of those flower things. It looks like a few people are having weird things happen.

Laura's clothes would fit better than anything I own, and be more appropriate. I don't really know anyone the right size for you.

*You can hear the frown in her voice.*

A flower festival where flowers are crazy, why can't we have nice things!?

It's okay... Ed offered to change something I already have to the right size temporarily.

[He sighed.]

I just... don't want to be small. I don't want have to grow up all over again.

[Not to mention that it was going to be pretty darn awkward to like... do things... with his girlfriend...]

If it helps, there are worse things to randomly turn into while you're here.

*She didn't sound particularly interested in sharing what that meant.*

It'll probably pass, or someone will figure out how to fix it. At least you're still you, and not someone else.

[He hugged his knees. Look what a cute kid he was...]

Kind of puts a damper on things, though. Even stupid stuff like just trying to make myself breakfast is harder because I can't reach as high. I hate being small.

*He looks so sad and pathetic about all of this, but...*

You just need to find ways to work around it. That's what I gotta do when I'm at your place trying to make anything.

[Honestly, the whole 'not reaching things' was just something he was vocalizing, but there was more to it than that. Keith huffed a little.]

I don't think Shiro's gonna like me climbing on the counters, though.

[He looked away, not making eye contact on the video.]

Would Red let you climb on her? She could help with that.

Or even Black... he's bigger!

[This place never ceases to be ridiculous, does it?]

I can fix your clothes if you want, this isn't the first time I've seen this happen.

[Casually ignoring he was a kid the last time.]

Well, at least it's not a first. Do you have any idea how long it lasts?

I really just need something for today so I can get some other stuff. I'm kind of stuck in the house right now... for obvious reasons...

It's not always caused by the same thing. I wasn't really involved last time it happened here but where I was before it was usually over in a few days. I doubt the causes are the same, anyway.

I can swing by and transmute an outfit or two to get you out of the house, at least. I'll just transmute them back when it's over.

[No big deal, right? Then Keith could go shopping for whatever he needed without being held up.]

Mm...

[Keith considered that.] I guess that could work... [Though, as easy as it might be for Ed to do something like that, Keith wasn't sure he really wanted to change his clothes. He chewed on his lip.] I mean... is that really something you can change back? [Wasn't there a different amount of ingredients in something smaller?]

I found some.

[By asking a random stranger who wanted to help cloth a twelve year old girl.]

Why not buy some? You got money right?

Yeah... but I need some to actually wear so I can go to the store to buy some. It's kind of a catch-22, you know?

Why not just wear a jacket that keeps the important bits covered?

I might have one if you don't. They might even give you a discount just so you put on clothes.

[Keith wasn't so sure about that. Talk about feeling exposed.]

Maybe I'll see what Ed can do. He offered to change something I already have for a while, and then change it back again once I'm back to normal.

Ed? Who's that... your dad or something?

[Who can sew?]

My da-? Noooo... [Keith shook his head.] No way. Met him here. He does this alchemy thing... I don't get how it works.

Alchemy is like changing iron into gold. Though it's like Newton's laws.

[Even as a twelve year old, Freya has always been a nerd.]

Does he actually do it? Change one thing to something else?

Yeah, he does. Like, I know what it's suppose to be? But, he does this thing where he claps his hands, and there's a flash of light, and then- done! That's it.

He claps his hand? It sounds like a bad after school special.

Or some weird cartoon. [Like Keith should talk.] But, yeah... that's what he does. I've seen him do it.

That sounds pretty cool.

Also sounds like he should make your clothes. Hey! Once you got something we should go exploring!

My armor doesn't fit, though, and my weapons are too big for me.

We don't need that stuff.

If we run into trouble we can just run away.

[Best logic ever.]

[Keith frowned. He'd been outside the wall. It wasn't exactly safe for kids.]

I don't know. I mean...

[He glanced off to the side. IDEA!]

Hey! What if we brought one of the Lions?

Lions? Like a real lion?

[That'd be fine, probably.]

No... a robot.

[He shifted the screen and... voila! life-size robot lion... a red one.]

That's Red. She's sort of my lion.

[It was complicated now that Lance had bonded with Red back home, and Keith had bonded with Black, but then Shiro was back in Black, and Keith was now in the Blade of Marmora... but Lions maintained their bonds with previous Paladins, so he could still work with both Red and Black if needed.]

Black's bigger though. We could probably take him with us.

[Freya's stormy gray eyes go wide as he shifts the screen.]

That is the coolest thing ever!

[She wants to ride a robot lion.]

Yes! Let's do it!

[Keith smiled back.]

Okay! When I get something to wear, I can meet you somewhere. Where do you wanna meet?

[Because, yes... this was totally the safest thing to do, wasn't it? Good thing for the Paladin/Lion bond because it meant Red and Black would save them if they got into trouble.]

Let's meet outside the building with all the beds.

[Because she knows where it is.]

[It took Keith a second, but then he nodded.]

The communal building, right? Okay. I can do that.

I'll see you in a little while, then.

Awesome! I can't wait.

[Today is going to be awesome.]

[It took Keith a little longer than he wanted, but he made it, sure enough. He was hard to miss. He'd managed to convince the Black Lion to come along, but Red wasn't about to be left out, so she was following along. Black was about the size of a liger, which was larger than a normal lion, and had large red wings on its back that seemed to double its height. Red was smaller, about the size of a mountain lion.

He spotted Freya and waved.]

Hey! We can both fit on Black if we want!

[Freya is a small girl, thin and a little scraggly, with short bright blond hair. There is a wide smiled on her lips and a skip in her step as she runs up to Keith and the two robot lions.]

Yes! They look so cool!

[This feels like a dream come true.]

[Keith couldn't help but grin a little. It always made him feel good here when someone admired the Lions. It was different back home because of what was going on around the Lions and his relationship to them, but here? It was nice.]

They'll definitely protect us if something happens. And they're fast. And they can fly. So, they'll be able to get us back to the city, too.

[Without any prompting, Black settled down so Freya could climb up behind Keith. There was enough space right between the wings. Red came in to watch, curious about Freya, and protective of suddenly-tiny-Keith.]

That's so cool!!!

[Freya climbs up the Black lion with ease and then settles in behind Keith. Her head swivels from left to right as if to see the world from a whole new point of view.

She's never felt this tall before.]

This is so awesome. Where do you want to go first? Does Red want to decide?

[She looks over at the Red lion and then tries to stretch out her hand towards it to pet it. Freya almost falls off of Black when she realizes that it is impossible to reach the other lion.]

Whoa! [Her legs cling onto Black and she pulls herself into a firm seated position.] I am not going to fall off, promise.

[Black was much larger than Red, so the fact that Freya couldn't reach wasn't surprising, but Keith did try to reach out to her and help her balance when she tried.]

Definitely hang on.

[He smiled a little and Black started moving with no visible or audible signal to do so. Red followed along on the larger Lion's right side, like in formation. Once outside the wall, though, she broke off like she was scouting ahead and beyond into the woods to watch for threats.]

So, where do you want to go?

HANGING!

[Freya shouts, almost in Keith's ear.

She holds on tightly, resting her chin on Keith's shoulder so she can look past him at the forest in front of them. The trees look so big and she's saying that while sitting on top of a large mechanical lion.]

That way! I bet we can find something there.

[Keith yelped a little, jumping slightly as he was startled by her shout. But, he recovered quickly, and then was looking around as she pointed a direction for them to head in.]

Alright.

[Without a word, Black turned to head in that direction while Red kept her perimeter.]

I have a sweater I can lend you. [ The number of small that this is all providing? It's quite pleasing to the ego, you have no idea. ]

I don't have spare trousers though, but we could use a balloon string for a belt? Just to hold you over until you can find better fitting clothes. [ Fashion at its finest. ]

Where are you now?

A balloon string? I don't know if that'd strong enough.

[He frowned a bit.]

And I don't have any balloons...

[At the next part...]

I'm at home.

Your home? [ He thought you might be lost at the celebration like Ciel had been. Well, this is easier than he thought. ]

Then just find one of your old belts and some scissors. Then find some clothes you don't mind cutting up.

[Keith sighed.]

That's what I'm hoping to avoid. It's not like I've got a ton of spare stuff lying around to do that to.
