Though the bear comparison is fairly accurate in terms of how big the wolf form gets.

Just, when you get there, I won't be able to talk. It can get a little weird, but I'm getting better at communicating in other ways.

Oh, no. I have. It would be hard for me not to... you see them a lot where I'm from. And they're sort of special to my family in particular.

We know that, but not everyone does.

...don't worry, though. I'm normal sized. There won't be any bear-sized wolves running around, I promise.

For light, we have candles, lanterns, torches... if you're lucky, you have a wizard friend who can make light with magic.

For communication, mostly letters, or birds. Some couriers went by horseback but I would always go by foot. I don't know about any kind of long-distance magical communication though.

All the things like... trains? I think? (I don't have my notes handy.) We don't have anything like that. Period.

It's definitely convenient. I think I'd miss it if I went back home, to be honest. And I don't think anyone would believe me if I told them about it...
