I would like to know what your name would be, and if it suits you. Mine does not, but I guess that's because my name is... already my name. Serious answers only please. I think this is a good opportunity to get to know some of you better, and maybe make some friends.

No. Just me for right now. Oh and one of my friends had a pet wolf, so that makes two.

I'd like to know more, though.

[sentiences]

It must be hard, trying to search for that connection.

[lykou]

I guess, but...

It easier knowing what I'm looking for, than not even knowing what I'm looking for. If that makes sense?

Of course. Do you have some idea at least?

[lykou]

Yeah. It's kind of confusing, but I could... try to explain it, if you really wanted.

But I wouldn't blame you if you didn't.

If you want to. At the very least, I'm a good listener.

I'm a robot. I get that searching for something not easy to name or explain is tricky when you're on your own.

I hate having to keep asking this but...

What's a robot?

[sentiences]

[ Huh. ]

It's a machine. Kind of like the one you're using to communicate on the network.

[lykou]

I believe you, but I'm having trouble imagining something like that. I'll get used to it, I think.

Does that mean you can just use your body to get on the network? (Is it called a body still?)

[sentiences]

Correct. I can use my mind to connect myself onto the network.

[lykou]

That's actually very impressive. Do you mind if I write some of this down?

[sentiences]

Sure, but what for?

[lykou]

I like to write down the things I learn in new places. It helps me remember, and it's relaxing.

[sentiences]

Do you forget certain things frequently?

[lykou]

No, not particularly. Here, maybe a little bit more... all these things like computers and electricity don't exist where I'm from, so it's going to take me a while to understand it all.

Also, I travel a lot. I just like to keep memories.

[sentiences]

What does your world possess? If you don't mind me asking.

[lykou]

For light, we have candles, lanterns, torches... if you're lucky, you have a wizard friend who can make light with magic.

For communication, mostly letters, or birds. Some couriers went by horseback but I would always go by foot. I don't know about any kind of long-distance magical communication though.

All the things like... trains? I think? (I don't have my notes handy.) We don't have anything like that. Period.

That's fascinating.

I've never seen a world like that. Technology has always been around.

[lykou]

To be fair, I haven't even been here that long, and I think I'd miss it if I went home. Being able to instantly communicate with my party if we get split up, getting across the city in minutes rather than hours...
