[ A small, but genuinely-looking grin spreads across his face for a few moments as he greets the camera. But, his expression quickly drops into something serious, as if he has a real question to ask. Something important on his mind. ]
So I've been here a month and have learned a few interesting things.
[ He pulls out a notepad, and very pointedly puts it on his desk in front of him. There's scribbles, not legible to anyone watching, and maybe not anyone but him. He very pointedly made them for himself. ]
Most notably, that my world is rare in that when the apocalypse happened, humankind lost and were decimated. This leads me to a very curious question.
[ He picks up a pen, prepared to write. ]
For those of you who are from a world that managed to stop or dodge the apocalypse - Can you share how you did it, or how others did it - if you are aware? I'm curious to see how others managed it.
[ He taps his pen on the desk. ]
If you're not from a world with an apocalypse problem, tell me something interesting and unique about the world you come from. Whether it is a bit of history, the geography, languages, whatever it is that you're comfortable sharing.
