[Two days after Remy's pot-luck and Freya is barely able to sit up without her head reeling. She doesn't know what it means. Her race doesn't get sick. In fact, Freya has never felt sick in her life, except for today. She feels like utter crap. Everything aches and despite her best efforts, she can't seem to focus enough to shift into a wolf. She has convinced herself that it would be easier in that shape, it's who she is, her true self but, damn it, she's too tired.

Her eyes close and she sleeps for hours, not bothering to call out of work in the process. When she wakes up it's the middle of the night and she can't get back to sleep. . .

6 Hours of watching the shadows on the ceiling and she's moved her attention to her phone in an expression of utter dismay.

Being sick fucking sucks and she doesn't want to do it anymore. Her text's aren't particularly long but they are sent out in broke fragments of someone who can't focus or even keep their thoughts straight without jumping topics.]

The charge on my DS died and then I lost it somewhere on the other side of the room. I don't know what else to do with myself. It's a little funny. I stole that DS from the lost and found during the short time that I had worked at Dave and Busters and now its lost. Get it? Funny.

Question: how do people with no chins put on pillowcases? Have you ever seen someone with no chin and thought that? I think that's a very real concern for people with no chins. They should have support groups and we can invent devices that put pillows on cases.

There are 27.65 tiles on the ceiling and each tile averages about 207 small dots.

Ignore that, my eyes were closed.

Imagine a puzzle where half of the pieces are the same shape and you're not sure what the picture is but you're trying to put it together… that's a fairly accurate description as to how I feel right now.

[Freya has a high fever and isn't able to think clearly. She's laying across her bed on the fourteenth floor in the communal housing, clad in her Captain America pajama's. Her skin is pale and her face flushed. She's laying on her side with her light gray eyes focusing in and out on the phone resting next to her. Her long blonde hair is messy and tousled all over the bed while dots of sweat glimmer across her brow.

She isn't sure if she has the strength to stand but she's going to try and possibly hobble around barefoot, tightly clasping her phone in her left hand and looking like death.]

[ooc: feel free to reply to her text or just run into her wherever. she is the world's worst sick person. she is also sending all of these texts individually over the course of a few hours, so if you want to reply to a certain one, go for it.]

I don't remember.

I slept for a little and then it was night and I was awake and I didn't want to move. It was before that.

Do you think you're okay enough to go get some?

Getting up sounds like a lot of work. I don't know if it's worth it.

Not that I've tried it but it doesn't sound fun or at least the dying part isn't fun. That part is how I feel now.

[Freya is wearing her Captain America Pajama's while sprawled across one of the beds. Most of the others appear to be empty at this hour or they're avoiding Freya. It's hard to tell with the weak little whines of protest that echo through the whole room.]

[When Alex comes in, she's carrying multiple bottles of water in one hand, and a cup of soup in the other. She just grins and follows the whines until she reaches Freya's bed.]

Okay, special delivery.

[Freya is laying at a 38 degree angel in her bed with one leg draped over the one side of the bed and her head and arm draped over the other side. A mess of long tangled blond hair falls like a curtain over the edge of the bed. Her eyes are blood shot and her skin is a little more pale than usual.]

My hero.

[She reaches out and flexes her fingers in a gimme motion.]

[That makes Alex laugh softly, but she does hand over the water and the soup with a little grin.]

Here, I brought multiple bottles, but if you need more you can gimme a ring. Or I can take you to the hospital if you need.

[Freya doesn't get up. Instead she takes the offered items and places them next to her head.

The moment they are sitting there she realizes that drinking will be problematic and she isn't ready to get up.] Can you get me a straw?

[She doesn't want to go to the hospital. She isn't supposed too and she is fairly sure that she won't like hospitals anyway.]

Um. Sure. I may have one in my bag.

[Alex, as a reporter, always carries a giant oversized bag, and she shuffled through it for a minute before finding a slightly worn straw still in it's paper coating.]

I hope this one works.

[Freya's eyes widen.]

You have a magic bag! ARE YOU MARRY POPPINS!

I want a spoon full of sugar.

[that just makes alex crack up, she can't help it.]

Well, I'm a reporter who spent a fair amount of time on the road and crashing places not at my house. So I actually do have sugar in here. At least sugar packs anyway. Oh speaking of, I have some Advil if you want it?
