[This has become a tradition at this point; Dodger is starting his post off by playing music on his guitar. This time his dog is laying its head on his lap. Dodger is playing a somber indie tune; he's singing the male vocals, but the dog simply opens its mouth and a voice that sounds slightly auto-tuned fills in the female vocals. Dodger seems to be in a better mood than usual; he looks like he might have even slept in the last month or so.

At the end of the song he reaches down to scratch his dog's ears, and huffs lazily.]

I'm bored. Everyone who's been here long enough knows that's a pretty dangerous state for me. So. Who wants to give me something to do? I'll do whatever you want, long as the pay's worth it - and long as you're willing to take the blame if I get caught up in something illegal again.

I take units, barters and sexual favors. And you can't touch my dog.

I will receive as many pets as I want. [The dog adds indignantly in its robotic voice.]

It wouldn't be cheap. I understand the value of time. However, I've not had the opportunity to explore beyond the wall, and I understand going alone is unwise.

[Dodger tips his head from one side to the other, in a noncommittal gesture.]

I haven't had a woman in a while... or a human man, for that matter.

[He still hasn't tried convincing Aeacinos to let him top... he's not even sure how that would work in his native form.]

I get bored, that's really it. Just wanna switch things up. [He pauses, and huffs softly.] I won't charge you, you're... different.

Bored, hm? What would you like to try then? [ He'll almost mimic Dodger's own actions as he tilts his head curiously. ]

Not in a sexual manner of speaking, but in general. [ A pause as he looks Dodger in the eye. ]

What is something you have always wanted to do.

[Somehow, even after a fair amount of time together he still finds those looks slightly unnerving. He sets his jaw as he thinks about it for a few moments.]

Iunno. [He responds dumbly.] Uh... that's a pretty... vague question.

[Things he's always wanted to do? Own a dog. Find and kill his father. Raise a kid. Fix up a really nice bike. Travel to other countries. See an octopus in person. Feel validated and happy for more than five minutes. They all seem like... very stupid, short-sighted answers, nothing impressive enough to seem worth noting. He doesn't have any grand goals, at least not in regards to Riverview. He had a goal back home, but it's pointless to even bring it up here.]

[Mainly drowning his sorrows over the fact Letha and Marco had left him while his relationship with Rey had nowhere fast. Feelings sucked.]

I suppose you could always see how to cure blindness caused by a basilisk.

[He's still feeling quite a bit of guilt over not being able to protect Gyda better. This was his fault and he hadn't been able to solve it.]

Back home, wasn't outta the question to write up contracts. Decide exactly how much work and effort was worth what. Sealing everything in writing so you couldn't back out later. Think it's a waste of ink, but some people like the security.
