[ Hello Riverview! Today the feed opens with... the close-up of a face covering the whole visual. Wide, round, and unsettling eyes, with a potato nose and a smiling mouth that looks so enormous it takes up half of the screen and, if you pay close attention, you might be able to see the bottom of his throat.

Jyushimatsu is not aware that he's way too close to the camera. He never had a cellphone back home and never bothered with technology in general. It doesn't help that it seems he can't keep the device steady as his image is shaky at best and completely blurry at worst. It might hurt your eyes, so don't stare too much.

But anyway! Onto the more important things! ]

HI EVERYONE I'M JYUSHIMATSU NICE TO MEET YOU!

[ Sorry for your eardrums, too.

Thankfully his voice lowers after the introduction. ]

I came here a few weeks ago and I work as a mascot for the Riverview Rams! It's a baseball team! You should root for them!

But I'm using this thing now because I wanna do something super fun with you guys after the bad things that happened last month! Have you heard about softball? I didn't, until a cool guy told me about it a while ago! It's like baseball, but it's smaller and the balls are bigger!

[ He's also terribly bad at providing explanations. And the screen is gradually getting soaked in his spit. ]

SO!!! How about we just have a match? We form two teams and beat each other up with softball! Sounds great, right?

[ FILTERED @ WALLY WEST... after he spent a long time trying and failing. One of his brothers had to teach him. ]

[ He flails at the camera, now standing at a proper distance. ]

There's more than a few other speedsters back home. Some of them are good guys and some aren't.

[ There are also others he has forgotten about. ]

But they don't call me the Fastest Man Alive for nothing.

[ Barry Allen is right there, but Wally believes he's a touch faster than his mentor is these days. ]

[ Yeah, have a sparkle-eyed Jyushimatsu staring at the camera in return. ]

Amazing! So I really did go on a trip with the fastest of the fastest! I feel super honored! Should have asked for an autography!

[ Hey now... ]

[ Jyushimatsu's impressed rambling earns a soft laugh out of Wally. ]

You could have asked for an autograph. Totally blew it, though. I mean, who knows if you'll ever get a chance like that again.

[ He's obviously teasing here as he'd be all too happy to oblige. Though he's not sure why anyone would his autograph even with the whole being fast thing. ]

[ The best thing is that Jyushi totally takes the bait and looks upset on camera. ]

Wha-? Are you going home soon? Oh no, you're right, I totally blew it!

[ He lets out a tiny "nooooo" as he holds his head dramatically. So sad! ]

[ There's nothing but silence on Wally's end for a long moment since he's not sure if Jyushimatsu is acting or genuinely crushed because he took the teasing to heart. Given what he knows about the other man, he ultimately decides the latter is more likely than the former, and it is the only reason he isn't laughing hysterically here. ]

Buddy, you do know I was just kidding around, right?

[ He might not be laughing, but there's no masking the hint of amusement in his voice. ]

I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. And even if I was, I'd still find time to give you an autograph if you really want it.

[ ... Ah. Um. Mistake.

The despair washes off Jyushimatsu's face as quickly as it appeared, but now he's quite flustered as he shifts his eyes away from the camera and pouts. ]

I totally knew you were! I was playing along!

[ No, he wasn't... ]

But I'm happy I've still got a chance to get one! We should meet again soon!

Really? Well, you fooled me. That was some great acting.

[ Does Wally actually believe him? Absolutely not. But he's willing to go with it for Jyushimatsu's sake. ]

And I'd like that. Maybe we can go play catch or something when you're better.

[Well, okay, he's flattered and kind of glad Wally apparently didn't see through his lie! ... Even though that was clearly obvious and he's a dumb bean. ]

Definitely! Even without the softball thing set in stone yet, we can still play together!

[ A pause, and then Wally gets another cat-eyed stare. ]

... As long as you don't do the fast thing to get advantage, that is!

[otherflash]

[ Wally feigns a gasp as if he's just been accused of the worst thing ever. ]

I'm offended you'd even think I'd do such a thing!

[ The immediate laugh that follows should be more than enough to let the other man know he's not actually offended. Well, unless he's going to be gullible again. ]

But if it makes you feel better, I'll swear on my speedster reputation that I'll abide by the rules of fair play.

[ Fortunately, he catches up and gives a laugh of his own, muffled because he's covering his mouth with both sleeves. ]

I'll hold onto that promise! In return, I swear I won't do weird things either!

[ Like throwing balls into the stratosphere, just to name one. ]
