Killing people in general is a pretty big no-no for me.

[ But like with almost every rule, there are a few situations where exceptions can be made. ]

That's a pretty big leap, no?

[ Loki has him correctly pegged as being the hero type, but Wally thinks his stance here falls under being a decent person. ]

Just because I'm against killing doesn't mean I'm a hero.

While most people are certainly against killing, they would usually come up with an answer where they would kill in a hypothetical situation.

Only heroes tend to think of it in linear terms.

[ Wally can't really argue with that line of thinking given he has a strict 'no killing' policy for himself. ]

And what would your answer be? What hypothetical situation would have you committing such an act?

Easily.

If someone touched what was mine, that would invite retribution.

Don't you think that's a little extreme? Killing someone just because you never learned to share?

[ Wally does assume that whatever Loki is talking about isn't exactly something one would typically share. But still!!!]

No. I have limited connections and I'm not one to let anything happen to them.

I'd do the right thing.

The right thing, I find, tends to be rather limited.

So is there a reason why you felt the need to ask people what is unforgivable to them?

I am, actually. I throw excellent parties.

Why not? I do whatever suits my mood.

It just seems like a weird question to ask randomly. Usually there's a reason behind such curiosity.

Reasons are dull motivations to do things.

And why do you do things? Because you can?

People have a sense of humour to appreciate which jokes do not land well.

The only thing worse than no sense of humor is having a terrible one.
