[The video opens on Zelda sitting in her office at Gramarye. She smiles once the video begins, a little subdued.]

Hello. I hope everyone's faring better after the events of a couple of months ago.

[She considers saying more, only to shake her head slightly. Best to let terrible memories lie. Besides, that's not the point of this broadcast.]

This is going to sound like a strange question, I'm sure. But I was wondering if anyone had advice on what sort of things are useful to buy when moving into a new home? I'm looking at apartments at the moment... they have furniture in them, but I'm not sure what else usually goes into a living space, especially here in Riverview.

[There are just a lot of gadgets that seem useful. And fascinating. But how many of them are practical? That's the real question. After a moment, Zelda has to smother an awkward laugh.]

It's probably obvious that I haven't done this before. [She looks down for a moment before holding up a magazine, folded open to a page advertising a dehumidifier.] And... I’m interested in how these work, but how necessary are they? How humid can a home really be?

No, I've never had one. I had a horse once but that isn't quite the same thing.

[scholiast]

(A horse, Zelda...)

My partner has two pets; you could have one of those, if you like.

[hylights]

[It was a royal horse, very fancy. Technically she has a horse again now. She just hasn't begun to think of it as hers yet.]

I-- Lucretia! I wouldn't just take one of their pets.

[scholiast]

(Ooh. Will it live in the house with her?

Lucretia chuckles.)

You could absolutely take one of her pets! Preferably the one that doesn't like me.

[hylights]

You know... I feel like maybe you have an ulterior motive.

[scholiast]

I don't know what you're talking about.

Will I be invited to come and see this new place once you've populated it with all the necessities?

[hylights]

[Her smile brightens at the idea.]

Oh, absolutely! I don't know how long that will take though - I have to make an offer on one first.

[scholiast]

Oh! Pardon me, I thought you already had a place.

(She doesn't seem embarrassed though, simply amused.) Whereabouts do you want to live?

[hylights]

I have one in mind.

[A smile tugs at her lips. She's hopeful she can get the one she's got her eye on.]

In terms of where, I'm looking at places closer to Gramarye. If I could get one near the river that would also be nice... I spent a lot of time there.

[scholiast]

I used to live on the river! It was beautiful out there; I hope you can find one.

If you need any help with the process of applying or anything, I could probably help. Just give me a bell.

Thank you. The forms do look... extensive.

[scholiast]

They can be! We could always go to a cafe and go over them together, if you like.

[hylights]

[She's not too ashamed to admit relief to herself. The forms were very complicated from some places.]

That would be great.

Okay. I'm trying to get caught up on reports today but I should be less busy tomorrow if you're around.

(Turns out getting kidnapped even just the one time interrupts your work flow, like, who knew?)
