I understand that there is a festival focusing on romantic love going on right now, but I was wondering if there's anyone who would like to go out on a small journey to check on the fences with myself and a few others.

This person should be relative tech-savvy, as most of us are from a world where nothing of this magnitude exists. I've heard that the only requirement is that you be willing to sit for a day of learning. Of course, you needn't only apply if you are. A healer would be nice as well.

I wouldn't mind joining you. I can act as the medic just in case anything happens.

And I'm pretty good with technology and cooking too! But I'm not really an expert so maybe getting someone else for the tech part might be a good idea.

A medic would be nice. A few of my party are magic users, but.... Let's just say that I would prefer they throw fireballs than attempt to knit broken bones.

Well, you might be better acquainted with technology than the rest of us. There is also a day of training you would need to sit through. I know that another member of the party will be there. I'm sure that between the two of you, we would be fine. And the rest of us can pick up things rather quickly.

If general familiarity is all you need, I can provide such. I've also made a habit of traveling beyond the walls.

Myself and Relm Hawke are members of the Perimeter Guard, though in different divisions. We would be accompanied by Iona Lavellan and Dorian Pavus, who are both researchers at Gramayre.

We're from the same world, which from what I understand would be close to the Middle Ages technologically when compared to the most popular world here, Earth.

In that case I believe I would be considered familiar with advanced technology by your definitions. Similar to this world I came from a place with space travel and comparable technologies. I'm familiar with Relm Hawk and Dorian Pavus, though not through working with them with the Guards.

I think you'd be perfect for the other position if you're willing to sit through the day long training course. I know it's not exactly everyone's favorite thing to do.

It's good that you'll know some of the others coming along. It should make it easier for us all in the long run.

I'm glad to accompany you. I'm not a healer, but I am good with technology. How large is the party? I don't personally need a healer, either. I recover quickly and can care for myself.

If the other people who have replied come along, you would make seven. So, not a big party at all. Not needing a healer for yourself might be useful, but my priority is to keep others from being harmed at all. If possible.

Not too big at all. Yes, and that is nice, but at least it can be known to not make me a priority if there's incidents.

I find that in these instances that a smaller, more cohesive units are better. Of course, we've not been sent out to war yet, so I suppose that's neither here nor there.

But I agree that having one less person to worry about would be nice, especially with some of the others coming along.

I prefer not to worry anyone. It's better to go as a group, sure, but relying on others to keep me safe would end in me dying, I'm sure.

I am not. Rest assured that much about me has not changed. And while the spirit of this holiday is something I can appreciate, the fact of the matter is that there has been no end to the many parties that occur here in the Quarantine.

you know, not everything to do with the holiday is parties. city's offering some nice deals to people going on dates, and the city isn't lacking in secluded spots. kill a few monsters, hang up something for privacy, lay down some blankets and pop out some wine....

You are twisting my words. I have nothing against picnics, romantic or otherwise. I just don't see that there needs to be another holiday month set aside for romance. It should be genuine or it means nothing.

They are perfectly capable of making those decisions themselves. My desire not to fall into the expectations of such a gimmick doesn't make me unromantic. It just means that I find other ways to express myself with Iona.
