[ Poe is sitting on the floor of his bedroom with BB-8 sort of in his lap. More accurately, he has his legs crossed around the droid. This seems to be a regular position for the two of them. ]
Hey--I don't know how many of you know Finn, and if you don't know him you should know him, but.
[ He tilts his head, trying to think of how to put this. It's not like he just wants to blab about Finn's past to any old person. That's supposed to be Finn's choice. ]
Right. We're... we're coming up on a year, here, and I want to throw him a kind of a birthday party.
[ THIS IS HARD WHEN HE CAN'T JUST SAY "HE GOT HIS OWN NAME A YEAR AGO." ]
A kind of a surprise thing. Not really that much of a surprise because he hates surprises, so I'm going to warn him and no one's going to jump out of hiding at him, but I don't want him to know right away.

So anyway this is an invitation to a Finnday party on November 11th. ...Uh, and if anyone wants to help me with it, that would be great.

What sort of party? Like, I mean, is this going to be something with a lot of alcohol and noise complaints, or serving dishes and light conversation? In an apartment or a house? What sorta crowd are you expecting?
