I believe it is fair to assume that many of us who find ourselves here come from a number of diverse places which are not always comparable, and as such there are countless backgrounds and experiences represented here. That being said, are there customs or behaviors that you have witnessed or experienced here that bewildered you?
For the sake of discussion, this is my contribution:
[Attached is a photo taken of a flyer he was given for a nightclub, obviously catering to and celebrating the legalization of polyamorous marriages.]
This is not something I am aware of as socially acceptable in my galaxy—or at least my part of it—so encountering it as something so blatantly advertised without discretion came something of a surprise.

[Particularly when juxtaposed to the sort of norms he's more familiar with: black and white in many fashions, particularly where image is concerned.
It's what Thor says next that catches his intrigue more, however.]
Did your previous experiences involve portals, as it does here?

[His interest is piqued when Hux tells him he's traveled the galaxy. It might not be the same one he knows, but he likes to meet people with similar interests.]
In a sense, yes. My world is connected to eight other worlds, and we travel between them in a manner that is similar to portals. I have, at some point, been trapped in another world for reasons beyond my control. [Because he was a jerk, but that's not important.]

[Especially considering how much of his galaxy remains unexplored, and that says nothing of the ones beyond that.]
How were you able to return to your world? If you don't mind my asking. [He has to wonder if there's not anything that can be learned--and applied to the stay here.] Travel between worlds where I am from is much more conventional in comparison--by ship.
[tbf he hasn't talked to enough people yet to know it might not be common for others.]

There is a bridge between worlds, from my world, but it is guarded well. There are other ways to travel between them, but the level of protection varies. [He thinks he got into Jotunheim pretty easily, after all.]
There is a galaxy, too, and planets beyond our worlds. Ships still exist, though we do not commonly use them for travel.

Are the worlds you travelled to also ones that could be reached by ship?
[He remembers Thor referred to them as realms earlier, but he's not really familiar with the concept of other planes of existence; rather, he's interpreting this more as taking shortcuts.]

They can be, but it is difficult. Many realms are well protected and guarded from outsides, some more than others. They can be exited by ships, as well, with equal amounts of difficulty if you are not supposed to leave.

It's fascinating just how different the universes can be. I assume the realms you speak of are capable of self-reliance in terms of resources and security. That's not the case in my galaxy. It varies world-to-world, but as a whole they're dependent on one another for trade, security, and governance.
