What would be a good gift idea for someone that says something along the lines of 'Sorry I broke you'? I'm not entirely sure chocolates will cut it.

More like I drew the curtain back on what was really out there in the world and I don't think this particular person was ready to handle that.

Well, not until they died, but this particular individual would have gone upstairs, so I think it would have ended well on that side. I'm still waiting for them to see that I was just doing as they asked.

I'll take back my earlier suggestion then. If you're that familiar with them, then they'll either forgive you eventually or they won't. No use worrying about it.
