[ There's a flapping of wings and the rush of wind. The video is obviously being taken from a point very high up. All that is visible is Angela, her silver armor with its golden wings gleaming in the sunlight, and the blue, cloud-dotted sky behind her. She holds the phone out, posing for the camera. Though she can't seem to settle on a good angle.

Is she...? Yeah, it looks kind of like she's trying to take a selfie. She must have hit record by mistake.

[ It's a lot easier to look like a child and ask questions he otherwise wouldn't. ]

The Thor who is a woman, she won't attack us like the Odinson. And you? Who would you bring?

[ It's not an easy answer for Angela. Had she been her true self, she would have had an answer in a second -- Sera, of course Sera! But Angela as she is now has to think harder. ]

[ A curious answer. Loki studies Angela as subtly as he can, swinging their hands a bit. ]

What was she like, your Loriel?

[hevenly]

[ If Angela's smile for Loki is fond, het smile when talking about Loriel is even more so. ]

She was kind, a quality that is rare in Angels. As a child, I was often teased for being the wingless one. I was very lonely, though I was never alone. I would often run to her, crying -- [ At this point, she stops walking, and bends to pick Loki up and hold him on her hip. ] -- and she would hold me until my tears stopped. I never felt lonely in her arms.

[ Things Loki is learning: 1, he can never tell Angela that she inherited Freyja's mothering instincts, and 2, no one makes fun of you being carried when the one doing the carrying looks dangerously armed as Hel. He lets the indignity fall to the wayside in favour of playing his part, hooking an arm around Angela's neck. ]

Like no one in Asgard, then.

[ That was his experience too, both when he stole the Boy's body and long before when, as a magpie, he observed him among their family. ]

I hope she comes here too, she would be ... like an auntie.

[hevenly]

[ She laughs lightly. If she were not using her arm to hold Loki up, she might ruffle his hair. ]

I doubt she would know what to make of you.

Well, that's nothing new.

[ He swings a leg as she carries him, shielding his eyes from the sunshine. ]

Your armour, sister, is very ... cloying. Wouldn't you prefer some comfier clothes when you aren't zooming around on your wings?

[hevenly]

[ She hums thoughtfully, looking down at her armor. Perhaps he is right. ]

What would you suggest, brother, instead?

Shorts and tees.

[ Her limbs are too long to fit most clothes, he supposes.

It's nice riding on her hip, something he doesn't hurry her to end. Loki points out some windows with clothes in, waving them toward the attire. ]

Which of those do you like?

[hevenly]

[ Angela pauses in her walking to stop and look at the indicated windows. The mannequins inside are modeling a variety of styles, from bathing suits to sundresses to outfits for a night on the town. ]

Hm.

[ Unable to point when she's using her arm to hold Loki steady, she nods her head instead. ]

That one, on the right. [ She indicates an outfit consisting of a red shirt, floral patterned shorts, and yellow scarf. ]

I shan't forget you pointed them out.

[ They may be a present in the future, if he wants something from Angela. ]

They would clash most dramatically with your hair.

[ Which sounds admirable, the way Loki says it. ]

[ If he gets her the clothes as a present, it shall only mean she must get him something in return.

"Hm"ing softly, she continues walking. ] Would that be a bad thing?
