what sort of a place do you come from?

I was raised on the planet of ego and it was an empty sort of place. It had many plants but no people. [Except for that one.]

I was living on a ship before I got here.. where are you from?

I'm from Bristol, England. On Earth.

A whole planet with no people sounds very lonely.

It was very lonely. There are still many things I struggle to understand about others.

I have a friend who is of Earth. I do not know if he was from England.

Like what sort of things?

He probably wasn't. England is small, and there's loads of other places to be from.

[ Though, now that she thinks about it, all the people she'd ever met in space from Earth were British. ]

I am still learning the complexities of social interaction. So many people are from many different places and it is hard to remember the differences.

I must ask him where on Earth he is from. I have also heard Earth sometimes called Terra where I am from, though I have personally never been there.

that makes sense. terra means earth in latin.
which was a language people spoke on Earth, a long time ago.
