<sub>[ Despite being relatively quiet on the network, Karamatsu has been keeping up to date with what has been happening in Riverview. Well, what was important to him, anyway, and what was important to him was the fact there was going to be a masquerade this week. Going to bed every night and knowing there are people out there who don't have perfect fashion for this sort of thing was making him feel determined, and dare I even say.. proactive.

Unfortunately, when Karamatsu becomes inspired, it's usually pretty bad.
Today, he's dressed in this and seems awfully proud of it.

He strikes a pose, spreading the wings out to show off all of the colors with an exclamation of "bang!" which is nothing like the sound a bird should make (was he bird or just being extra??? we just don't know.) Then, he relaxes, cupping his chin with one hand. ]</sub>

Heheh. It seems there's going to be a party on Saturday. If you want to look as perfect as me, I will be happy to help and tailor you an outfit if you do not have one. Please, no payment is necessary. Take it as kindness from my own heart, as I do not want anybody to have an insufficient costume for such an event.

<sub>[ Karamatsu's protectiveness has increased a tenfold since everything happened on the Eluvio. Without Osomatsu here to give him guidance and assist, he's possibly expecting a burden that isn't as bad as it seems.
Karamatsu grew up being identified as the one who got into scraps the most often as a child even though he got the crap kicked out of him most of the time. As he aged, he got out of the habit, but it still rears its ugly head.

Like now, for example. His fists are clenching. ]</sub>

Do not say unkind things like that, especially to his face.
_{[ Ichimatsu already has it ingrained in his mind that he's useless and a burden. He doesn't need anyone to further remind him and Karamatsu knows that. Karamatsu, on the other hand, is stronger when it comes to being insulted, but he knows how fragile of a thing it can be when it comes to Ichimatsu. ]}

And do not associate me with your brother. You and I are not related. The only brothers I have are the ones that have my similar face— born from the same womb— on the same day.

[Dodger can't help... feeling deeply hurt, by this. He hadn't expected to get attached to anyone in this damn city, much less be attached enough to someone that his anger makes Dodger hurt. But here he is, feeling oddly chilled by the reminder that Karamatsu is, in fact, not related to him. And that's true, he isn't that important to the kid, is he... even if keeping him around and chiding him fills that empty void where his little brother should be.

He can't even think of a response. He just shuts off the communication, with an expression as he turns it off as if he'd burned himself on his phone. God, he really shouldn't have said that, should he...]
