[The video opens up on Ivar in the hallway of the hospital, sitting right outside a room. His free hand has a knife in it, fiddling round with it. Some might notice there's holes in the wall from where he's already stabbed through it a few times. He's got a grim look on his face and his eyes are hard, like someone facing a battle that they know they can't win.]
For those who care, Letha's in the hospital. Things aren't looking good. She's-- [There's a moment where something flickers over his face, an expression filled with pain and worry. Then he composes himself again.] --Something's gone wrong with her daughter, and according to the doctors, it's draining her life force. They don't know if they can fix what's wrong with her.
[For a moment, it appears that's all he's going to say. Then he turns and swiftly drives the knife into the wall again, burying the blade right up to its hilt. Well, Ivar wouldn't be himself without an irrational spike of anger.] Someone distract me before I kill one of these useless doctors.

If Eddie hadn't shown up, he'd already be carving Dodger up into little pieces by now. Really, he didn't need all ten fingers, did he?
Then a bunch of odd, glowy stuff starts to happen, and Ivar finds himself reaching for another knife. It's not that he feels intimidated by what's going on. That's just his natural reaction to something new with his adrenaline still up and the fear toxin spreading throughout his system. It won't be long now until he's scared out of his mind by imaginary water surrounding him.]
...Have you always been able to do that?
[He's pretty sure Eddie hasn't been, though with all the strange powers people seem to possess around here, what does Ivar know? His horses pick up on his agitation, shifting back and forth on their hooves as they watch the other two men. He shifts around so he can sit down rather than propping himself up on his hands. Ivar makes a motion for them to stand behind him. Really, leaning against Skinfaxi's legs is the only thing even keeping him upright at this point.
He speaks to his horse Pokemon, calming them down after the battle they've just been subject to. He couldn't ask for any better animals to be by his side. Ivar was only alive because of them.]
He's a friend. He won't hurt me. You two relax now. It's all over. Minn góðr eða hollr hestrs. [My good and loyal horses.]

He's unconscious for a moment, and when he comes back to he sees Eddie checking him over... what an oddly familiar sight. It puts a crooked smirk on his face as he watches him with an expression that's clearly not all there.
There are actually burns and bruises across his skin... something that is only possible for him under the effects of lightning. The worst is on his back, but Eddie will still be able to see some of it around his stomach. A cut through his foot, a slash on his arm, but mostly bruises from getting chucked around. And at least one of his ribs is definitely cracked from getting hit by the fire pony.]

No, I haven't always been able to do that. But I can do it now.
[He takes a deep breath, and glances down at Dodger, shifting his attention now that Ivar is talking to his horses, and Eddie can hear him saying that he's a friend, that he won't hurt him. That makes things easier, means he can let his guard down when it comes to Ivar and focus on dealing with Dodger.
Brows furrowing, he focuses on the shield thing and releasing it - a moment later, it dissipates, in a rush, and he can feel a bit of energy flowing back into himself. It's strange, that feeling, but he files it away for later, turning his attention to Dodger.]
I see you smiling, Jamie Dodger, are you able to respond?
[Gently, Eddie starts looking Dodger over, doing a quick assessment of his injuries and then peeling back the fabric where he finds blood.]

He needs to get away from it. Eddie can take care of Dodger, though hopefully the bastard's brain got completely fried from the lightning. He's beginning to feel panic rise up within him. If the water gets too high, he could drown in only four feet of it, unable to escape.
While Eddie is busy looking over Dodger, Ivar is taking the opportunity to slowly crawl away, heedless of his injuries. His horses follow, patiently allowing Ivar to lean against their legs when he's too exhausted to manage more than a few steps at a time.]
