[In pops Undertaker, all smiles, as per his usual. Not even recent events seem to have taken that away from him. From the view, he seems to be seated on a couch indoors, but in an unusual twist, there seems to be a head of dark hair leaning against his shoulder, one much smaller and certainly not his own. But he doesn't acknowledge this person, not right away.]

Those of you on Floor 2 of the community building, we'll be having a guest for a time. I seem to find myself in an interesting sort of way and I can't rightly say no to this one. [He's well aware that there may be worries about food and the sort, but he isn't taking no for an answer on this one.] No need to worry about him minding his own business or taking space. I've worked that much out so it won't fall on any of you, of course. Only fair. Feel free to speak with me if you've any concerns. Ta.

[The view shifts down and to the side, offering up a brief flash of Ciel leaning in against the mortician's side as he reaches with his other hand to power down the feed.]

[He set an arm over his thigh and looked up at the child with a quick grin.] Now that we've established as much, I'm afraid I haven't much for entertainment about this place. What takes the fancy for a young lord like yourself?

[sweetlies]

[He glanced around and-

yeah. There wasn't much. Even if he'd felt a lack at home, it was more noticeable here.] I like reading. And Ciel and I would play chess a lot.

[somakemelaugh]

Hm. Well, I don't yet have a chess board, I'm afraid, but books I do have. Let's have a look at them and see if you'd like to start in on one of those. [The ones he had collected had been mostly medical science and technology How To's and beginner's guides, to catch him up on the world around him. He wondered if the boy would be interested in anything like it, but he did have a mystery novel he'd picked up on a whim. Ironically enough, it was set in the Victorian era, and he was sure that was why he'd bought it. What did people here and now think that their life was like back in that age?]

[sweetlies]

[He sticks close to him, one hand holding onto Undertaker's or onto his clothes, a physical reassurance of his being close even if he can clearly see it.]

Maybe we could find a couple books too when we get clothes?

[somakemelaugh]

[He doesn't mind that hand holding onto him at all. In fact, he'll use it when he stands to help him guide the boy to a couch to settle in.] We'll do that. You'll need something to keep you busy if I have to leave for work and can't take you with me. I imagine you'll want to do a little exploring, but I'll leave that up to your whims, so long as you know how to get back here.

[sweetlies]

[He immediately shuffles next to Undertaker.] I... might stay here.

[After his last 'adventure,' he'd like to be where he knows he's safe. And comfortable.] Since I can only half see. I might get lost.

[And he hadn't even paid attention to where his own apartment was.]
