[This is actually Illya’s first post on the network, ever. He already doesn’t trust any kind of open communication, he knows how easily it can be bugged- and that’s not even taking into account the fact that they have to depend on a method of communication given by those who have basically kidnapped them. It’s useful, and he uses it to communicate with people but he sticks to one-on-one conversations.

...But, wouldn’t you know it, forgetting the main reason why he’s so careful apparently made him lower his guard. Who knew?]

Hello.

[He also looks way, way more relaxed, and one could almost call the way his lips seem to be twitching up a smile. Almost.]

Name is Illya, for those who don’t know me. Illya Kuryakin. I know most of us are dealing with.... Whatever is happening, with the loss of memory. But I think that’s all the more reason to be prepared.

[He goes on, unaware that he’s just… revealed his actual name to everyone over the network. Because since he forgot he’s a spy, he also forgot all about his secret identity. He’ll be pissed, but that’s apparently going to be a problem for future Illya.]

So I’ve been thinking about giving self-defense classes, to anyone who would be interested. I am most experienced in SAMBO, but I know many fighting styles. If you are looking for a sparring partner I would be interested, as well.

Well, there are a few small lakes in the abandoned area. It's also dangerous, but that could be fun. The river is probably the best I can do for you in the city center, but I'm sure I can find us a boat, either way. When do you want to go?

[He shrugs one shoulder.] I don't have adequate clothes to go, so I would need a day or two for that. But apart from that, whenever you want.

So, Wednesday? Thursday? You get your clothes and some lunch, I'll find us a boat.

[ She's looking forward to spending some time with Illya while he's like this, gaining a little more insight. She knows she can help him, she knows she can do something, even if it won't be as life altering as what Clint was able to do for her. Nothing will ever be able to top his contribution to the woman she's become. She will never be able to pay that much forward. She can try, though, one small act at a time. ]

[He mentally considers his schedule, considering what day would be better. On one hand he’s kind of impatient, this will help get his mind of things and the memories he seems to have lost. But he does have some cases he needs to look over, and his schedule being flexible doesn’t mean he can do as he pleases.]

Thursday is probably better.

[ A rower. God, she still wants to laugh. She won't, though. If he's anywhere near as touchy as the original, he might cancel. So she just smiles. ]
