Good morning. I've recently arrived in Riverview - my name is Mordred.

Suggestions are both welcome and encouraged as I learn my way around this lovely city. So is advice. [Although that could be such a bad idea. It's fine. He's accepted his choices.] In the meantime, I'll be fulfilling a position with Gramarye Magic Research.

Those of you that use magic yourselves, I sincerely hope our paths will cross while I'm here.

You certainly did. I'll be venturing beyond the wall in a day's time, not sure how long the excursion will last. But after that, Gramarye will have my undivided attention.

[He'll have to correct some misconceptions later about the schools of magic where he comes from; his necromancy is negligible at best, for one thing.]

Oh? I rely quite a bit on wards, myself. Perhaps you'll let me get your take on them, determine if there's any room for improvement.

Oh, I'd really like that actually. It'll be interesting to compare our magic.

Collecting. I arrived just in time to join the hunt for the flower that would cure all those cases of amnesia floating around. There were many other plants out there I've never seen before. I'm expecting Gramarye to help me identify their properties, but if not, I'm quite capable of doing so myself.

In fact, I use time-sealed barriers to preserve them. Feel free to double-check my work.

That would be fantastic; I haven't had a chance to explore any of the flora outside of the wall yet... I'd love to sketch them, for my own records.

Absolutely. I'll bring them round just as soon as I've finished with them, unless you want to help and collect your sketches in the meantime.

I mean, if you need a hand I wouldn't say no to that either. Exploring is kind of my thing.

I could always use an extra set for a task like this -- although, my guide is apparently very cautious about taking people out into the jungle who've never been there before. I'd hate for her to abandon me here just for being presumptuous. Have you gone beyond the wall yet?

I have actually, and for work. If your guide is apprehensive for safety reasons, I can assure you I'm more than capable of looking after myself.
