Good morning. I've recently arrived in Riverview - my name is Mordred.

Suggestions are both welcome and encouraged as I learn my way around this lovely city. So is advice. [Although that could be such a bad idea. It's fine. He's accepted his choices.] In the meantime, I'll be fulfilling a position with Gramarye Magic Research.

Those of you that use magic yourselves, I sincerely hope our paths will cross while I'm here.

[Congratulations: in its sheer simplicity, this is one of the weirdest things that's ever happened to him. It's tough to keep his amusement hidden now, a grin peeking out around the corners of his mouth even as he tries to purse his lips against it. Wow.]

The resemblance is... uncanny. [He wiggles his very own tsum tsum at Loki's.] Thank you for this.

You can keep mine, they have to stay together now that they're a thing. They may get lonely.

[ Boop-kissing the tsums, he hands his over. Peace offering. ]

[Of all the gifts he might have hoped to get from Loki, this would not have made it to the list, and not just because he didn't know such things existed. But it's a friendly gesture nonetheless, and for that alone it could have been a lot worse.

It's almost touching.]

I'm honored. [Although the one that looks like him is oddly discomfiting.] And genuinely unsure how I can repay you for this.

[ It's very good. He may ask for the recipe in a text, tbh. ]

Where are you staying? I'm at the communal apartments too, floor five.

Well, consider it a standing offer. If you're ever in the mood. [A good drinking buddy is hard to find, after all.

Then he blinks, genuinely surprised.]

You're in communal housing? [He wouldn't have expected most gods to put up with that for long. But then... this Loki does seem to have a social side. Millennial, even. There's something about him that is as young as he looks.] Floor three, for now.

I keep a bed there, it's easier to touch base at the apartments with others.

[ As opposed to living part-time in the Sanctum, which he isn't willing to divulge just yet. ]

Anyone interesting on floor three?

Keeping a bed there seems like the right way to think of it.

[He really doesn't mean to sound disparaging, but it's definitely not a set-up that works well for him. Strictly temporary.]

Truthfully, I haven't made proper introductions to my floormates-- [or even his roommate] --just yet. I was eager to get out into the city

[ Or rather, Loki makes more of an effort to be Totally Fine at night when the patrons are in full swing and keeping an eye out for those golden horns. ]

[There is no way this could be true, not when Loki's magic stands out like a torch in darkness.]

The club is beneath us, you wouldn't hear the music unless you go down the stairs but the bar and lounge tend to fill up as the night goes on. It's a little more private upstairs.

[ It's a little something to look forward to, dressing to impress. The first inclination he's had to do so in a while. ]

I'll make sure I'm accessible.
