[It’s a bit overwhelming to go from one place to suddenly another—without the aid of a ship or anything of the like. Then, be greeted by strangers and be told they were in a different place. Rey is trying to grapple with it, but everything seems out of place to her. There wasn’t anything that screamed this was the First Order’s doing, nor could she sense Kylo Ren’s presence, but she still had to keep her guard up.
The device she’s using—a phone is what they told her—is an interesting one. It’s small, compact, and has other uses to it. Later, she’ll try to tinker with it maybe even take it apart to see how it works, but right now she needs answers.]
Has anyone else asked why we were brought here? Or, if they have, do they believe the answer?
Additionally, are there any ships here? If not, maybe an area with parts or a junkyard?
[It wouldn't be wise of her to say who she is. Who knows if there are members of the First Order are here. Or, really, anyone that has connections to the First Order.]

I'm from Jakku.
no subject
I suppose many people from Jakku don't make their way to the capital.
no subject
No, no one who visits Jakku would have business on Coruscant. Not even Unkar Plutt.
no subject
no subject
Were--are you a Senator from Coruscant?
no subject
No. I am a Jedi.
audio
He was in a different star system.]
Who is this?
[Her voice is stern, unsure, but she needs to know who this is. No one throws around they're a jedi, not when the First Order could be here.]
no subject
My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi. I'm a Master from the Order.
no subject
The Order? The First Order?
[As in the Knights of Ren? A Master to Kylo Ren? Or another master aside from Snoke?]
no subject
The Jedi Order, obviously. What else would I be referring to?
no subject
The Jedi Order has been gone for decades. There are no Jedi aside from Luke Skywalker.
[Her voice is very tense, unsure of what she should do next. Find this person and see for herself? Could be a trap...]
no subject
I'm not familiar with a Luke Skywalker. Only an Anakin Skywalker. And the Jedi were very much alive the last time I checked.
no subject
And is Skywalker a common name?]
No, they aren't. The Jedi Order is gone and the Empire took over until Luke defeated them. [More or less, it's all very complicated.]
If you are a Jedi...prove it. [How would he prove it, she doesn't know, but this is ridiculous.]
no subject
I'm not a magician who provides parlor tricks. And if you knew anything about the Jedi, you would know that as well.
no subject
[She lets out a heavy, frustrated sigh. She doesn't want to reveal her hand...but she has to. Just a little.]
I have his lightsaber and I need to return it to him.
no subject
Luke Skywalker. Surely Anakin didn't. He wouldn't do that. Not to Obi-Wan. Not Anakin. ]
I need to see it.
no subject
[This could be dangerous. This could be very dangerous. She could be walking into a trap...but if he's from her world, she needs to know who he is, and more.]
[ audio > action ]
[ And he abruptly closes the connection. Nothing in him shakes, but it feels like a howl. A tempest that is slowly picking up motion. Victory in the Clone Wars, we will not have. He had been ruminating on those words ever since he arrived here. Had the Force been preparing him for this?
You can't do this to me.
But Obi-Wan isn't sure who he wishes to say that to. The Jedi. The Force. Anakin. All has fallen silent. Rising up and pulling his cloak over his head, he makes his way to the entrance. ]
no subject
It takes her a few minutes but she starts to walk up the entrance and notices the cloaked figure. She has her staff on her in case he makes any ill moves.]
...Are you Obi-Wan?
no subject
[ He lifts his hood to reveal himself fully. ]
The lightsaber. May I see it?
no subject
Finally there's a nod of her head, moving closer and reaching behind her to the small satchel she has clipped onto her. She slowly pulls it out and offers it to him...
And hoping this won't end badly for her.]
no subject
Even if Anakin had lost it, finding its way to another person is a sign of the Force.
Anakin. His Anakin. How could you do this to me?
His head bows as he curls the lightsaber close to his chest, a weight settled upon his brow. His face is a shadow, unreadable. There is no line of pain etched across his face.
For Jedi do not cry. ]
no subject
Looking at Obi-Wan, how he handles it and looks over it....it's clear to her that he is a Jedi. No one else would know the grooves or the weight of it. He hasn't tried to keep it from her, or run off with it.
But there is something solemn...maybe even sad about seeing him hold it. Did it mean something to him too? How many hands have touched this lightsaber? Rey averts her gaze, feeling foolish for having doubted him--especially because of his rank.]
I'm sorry. [She murmured softly, apologizing for not believing in him and for giving him such a hard time...and perhaps, for whatever he was feeling now. ]
no subject
It is not your fault.
no subject
Rey extends her hand to him, taking the item from him and the sense of familiarity comes over her again. She takes the lightsaber and places it back in her pouch for safe keeping.]
But it is. [For bringing this to him, but she had to know. She looks over him again and her eyes widen slightly. She would've remembered meeting a face like his but..his voice.]
You guided me. Your voice it...I've heard it before.
