[It’s a bit overwhelming to go from one place to suddenly another—without the aid of a ship or anything of the like. Then, be greeted by strangers and be told they were in a different place. Rey is trying to grapple with it, but everything seems out of place to her. There wasn’t anything that screamed this was the First Order’s doing, nor could she sense Kylo Ren’s presence, but she still had to keep her guard up.

The device she’s using—a phone is what they told her—is an interesting one. It’s small, compact, and has other uses to it. Later, she’ll try to tinker with it maybe even take it apart to see how it works, but right now she needs answers.]

Has anyone else asked why we were brought here? Or, if they have, do they believe the answer?

Additionally, are there any ships here? If not, maybe an area with parts or a junkyard?

[It wouldn't be wise of her to say who she is. Who knows if there are members of the First Order are here. Or, really, anyone that has connections to the First Order.]

We did find an old starship out in the jungle, but it's not up and running yet. As a rule though, there aren't too many here - I think mostly because we're a Quarantine. But someone had to settle this moon in the first place.

What kind of starship? Is there anyone working on repairing it?

It's a little bit bigger than a shuttlecraft - it seats several people comfortably. I'm afraid I am not much of a mechanic myself, but Jim Kirk and Poe Dameron are working on it now.

Poe? I think I might know him... I'll see if I can offer to help with repairing the shuttle.

Aside from it needing repairs, can you tell me anything else about the ship? Rusted? Missing an engine? Needs new lights?

A little bit of everything, from what I could see. But I'm only the doctor - I was just there to make sure they didn't hurt themselves.

They know - Jim's planning to set up an exploratory branch of the perimeter guard using the shuttle, so we can cover more area outside the city walls.

You're not going to try and use the ship to leave?

And go where? This isn't my galaxy and my only way home is through that portal.

Find a way back home? Look for charts? Or other maps?

There are some who were brought here by mistake, myself included. We need to find a way out.

Believe me, I know. I have a son, a career, and a mission to get back to. You're not the only one brought by mistake.

I just don't believe a starship is my best option right now.

I've been told that, and its odd that so many of us have been brought here by "accident".

But the best option would be to explore what else there is for this place? How is that the best option?

The government has been completely transparent with us - the majority of residents are actually not accidental arrivals. Most come from dying world's or dangerous situations and are relieved to be here. They have been working with me since I arrived to try to get me home - but directing a wormhole is no easy task, I know that. But they have been successful before. I have known people who returned to their realities. Any information we want, we can access and they never stop us from exploring or studying the portal.

In short, I have no reason right now to disbelieve them.

I wouldn't say transparent in my case. They weren't very forthcoming with answers to the questions I had.

The timing of all of this...it's too much of a coincidence for me to be here when I needed to be elsewhere.

Depends on what you mean by "adjust."

Getting resources together? Food..or a job?

They offered me a job at the hospital pretty much right away and the government pays for your first month's rent and food, while you get settled in.
