[It’s a bit overwhelming to go from one place to suddenly another—without the aid of a ship or anything of the like. Then, be greeted by strangers and be told they were in a different place. Rey is trying to grapple with it, but everything seems out of place to her. There wasn’t anything that screamed this was the First Order’s doing, nor could she sense Kylo Ren’s presence, but she still had to keep her guard up.

The device she’s using—a phone is what they told her—is an interesting one. It’s small, compact, and has other uses to it. Later, she’ll try to tinker with it maybe even take it apart to see how it works, but right now she needs answers.]

Has anyone else asked why we were brought here? Or, if they have, do they believe the answer?

Additionally, are there any ships here? If not, maybe an area with parts or a junkyard?

[It wouldn't be wise of her to say who she is. Who knows if there are members of the First Order are here. Or, really, anyone that has connections to the First Order.]

[She's waiting by a tree in the park, staff at her shoulder and trying to piece things together. She was here...before? But why? Why was she taken here to begin with and why did she come back--if it was true. And Poe...her memory is still a bit foggy, but she was certain she had met him...

And speaking of, there he is. She gives him a smile of her own.]

Yes. Poe? Is that really you? [Because it's too much to hope that is.]

Yeah! At least, I think it is. [he looks down at himself like he could EVER BE ANYONE ELSE and shrugs. just being a dork, it's fine.

but then he launches right into it.] I was just surprised when you mentioned having met me on the resistance base, because the last thing I remember is crash landing on Jakku. I thought — I thought I'd died, honestly.

[ She doesn't remember him being a dork but it suits him well. It's enough for her to smile. Finally, some she recognizes.

No, you didn't die. We both managed to leave Starkiller Base and come back to the Resistance before I left to search for Luke...

[ He doesn't remember that? How? ]

[he has his moments, ok. there wasn't a lot of time for them while they were in the star wars, but now that they're here ...]

Yeah? That's good to know. I've met some people from our same world since coming here, but no one's been able to confirm either way ... it was a lot. But now it's off my shoulders, so ... thanks. [his head tilts with a frown.] But now I feel like I need to go home. I've spent so much time here, just ...

Yes, of course. You're alive and BB-8 was happy to see you---he completed your mission.

[ At the very least he should know that. But yes, they have to find a way back home which begs the qesution...well multiple questions. ]

Fixing a shuttle? I heard you were doing that and maybe I could help? [More people fixing this ship, the better, right? And another question.... ] You said I was here before?

I'm glad. [he smiles a little, thinking of his robot son.] I miss BB-8 a lot.

[but then bb-8 is overshadowed by THE AWESOME SHUTTLE HE FOUND ON THAT MISSION. his face lights up.] Yeah! We found it on a mission. I has been planning to go to the abandoned city to scavenge for parts to build a ship piece by piece, but then I was lucky enough to find that instead. Jim and I would love your help. [and the other people too but i imagine it's mostly poe and jim working on the ship, ok.] ... Oh, yeah, you were. When I first came. We arrived together, and then you were gone in a matter of days.

He missed you a lot too. He saw Finn wearing your jacket on Jakku, and I nearly took it back from him.

[She misses the little droid already. Along with Finn and the General...she needs to get both of them back home.]

Mission? There are missions here? [What for? It's not like they're in a war....right? She gathered it was a peaceful time right now, but she won't question it further. The smile on her lips widens.] I have a plan to visit him in a few days, just to ask. I don't want to overstep anywhere.

[She pauses then, trying to recall anything of this place and she...she can't.] I don't remember being here at all.

I got my jacket, back, actually. [he chuckles at the memory.] When we first met here, you gave it back to me and wouldn't take no for an answer. But, I'm not sure how the portal works. I've tried to look into it, but ... [he shakes his head. research isn't really his forte.] You're the only person I know to leave and come back. Maybe we can't take our memories with us?

[he lets it go and moves on to] Anyway, Jim is great. Don't worry about it. Especially since you know me, I'm sure everything will be fine.

I did? [Oh, she feels bad about not remembering. But maybe he has a point? Maybe they couldn't take their memories back? Then why was she brought back? Things were going somewhat well...it's going to give her a headache at some point.] Maybe, but I would've...should've done something to remind myself that I was here.

Your face is the only one I recognized...but at least you have your jacket back. One good thing that came out of this, I suppose. [Trying to look on the bright side on this. At least she has a friend here.]
