[The video opens with a rather hesitant looking Shiro. There's really nothing behind him as of the moment, but he does glance over at something almost right as the video kicks on]

So... it seems this place just keeps getting weirder. It seems we had some recent arrivals from our world and well... it's better to show you.

[He turned back to whatever he had been looking at]

Come here. You can come here.

[Faintly in the background there was the sound of metal moving off screen then something walked into view of the camera so others could see it. It was quite clearly a black robot lion with glowing yellow eyes, several panels glowing blue, and red wing like protrusions on its back. It's was larger than a normal lion. It walked over and sat down next to Shiro, leaning in as though trying to figure out what he was holding]

This is the Black Lion of Voltron. However, its usually not this... small.

[Yes, he is calling a robot that's larger than a normal lion small]

I'm usually shorter than Black's foot. Let me see it.

[This he says to the lion, which does raise one leg to let Shiro have its foot, but it basically drops all the weight into his hand which makes him flinch]

You are still made of metal and heavy.

[Someone might be able to faintly hear the snickering in the background, but then the next thing that happens is that Keith suddenly fell into the frame of the camera as though shoved by something, a vague red blur before it vanished. Shiro jumped when this happened and the Black Lion got up heading off camera again only to return a moment later carrying a smaller red lion by the "scruff" of the neck as Keith sat up. Shiro just put his chin in his free hand watching as Black carried Red off before he remembered this was still rolling and turned back]

They don't know their own strength.

[ooc: Meet your new neighbors, two of the lions from Voltron! Black is about the size of large liger and Red is the size of a small lion. They are... slightly more active than normal, but will probably be around their specific paladin for the most part.

Either Keith or Shiro is available to answer. If you have a preference or if your character is pinging a specific person, just let us know. It can even be both if you'd like! If no preference, random response.

Well, it's a little weirder now because they are supposed to be this size. If you want come see them you can. Just be aware they decide if they are going to approach someone.

[Just a warning because they are in fact still weapons and potentially dangerous despite being cute]

Cool. I promise I'll be good. I mean, I don't want to get beaten up by a bunch of robot cats. That'd be bad for my rep.

No, that would be bad. We're down in the parking garage if you want to come see them now. Apparently they have parking spots down here.

[He's not letting Black sit down in the parking garage even if getting it inside will be difficult, but its still amusing they have one]

[ instead of responding, nico just steps into a shadow and appears in the parking garage, hands in the pockets of his jacket. ]

They're bigger in person.

[ there's a reason some people think nico should wear a bell around his neck. sorry if he's startled you, shiro. ]

They're even bigger normally.

[Keith had seen Nico do that before, so he was only mildly startled. Red wasn't sure what to think, though, and she initially put herself between Keith and Nico. She growled a little. Keith put his hand on her shoulders to calm her down.]

[ stepping back as the red cat growls, nico holds his hands up to indicate he means no harm. he probably should've reconsidered shadowing in before doing it, but there's nothing he can do now. ]

[Shiro has never seen that happen before and is definitely startled by that. Black did the same thing, putting itself between Shiro and Nico. Somehow Shiro manages to recover quickly, especially when Keith didn't seem that concerned]

The cockpits for the lions are in the head, which is where we sit.

[Which Black's head probably lines up with pretty close to Nico's based on height]

[ yeah, the black lion is a little intimidating with how big it is in comparison to nico's height ( especially since he's a little shorter than keith and definitely shorter than shiro ). ]

It's called Shadow Traveling. I can disappear into a shadow and reappear out of another. It's one of my powers. Sorry, though. I probably shouldn't have done it because your cats don't appear to like me much now.

They can be a little protective. [Keith's tone was a bit apologetic and slightly sheepish. Red was definitely more aggressive in her stance than Black was, but she responded to Keith by staying put at his side.] Also, they seem to be a bit more active here, but I think that has to do with the size thing. Usually, they just stay in the hangars of the Castle. I guess making them closer to the same size as regular lions made them act more like it, too.

They aren't used to new things either. They are used to being taller than everything.

[Shiro stepped around Black, the lion watching as he did. Keith seemed to know him already so maybe showing them they didn't have to be so on edge would help? To Nico-]

I'm Shiro.

[ when shiro speaks, nico looks up and shifts his gaze from keith. he steps closer, warily to show the lions he means no harm, and holds out a hand for shiro to shake. ]

I'm Nico di Angelo. Keith and I have talked a few times. [ and to keith he gives a nod, showing he doesn't mind the protectiveness of his lion and that he understands what he's saying, not taking offense to red's aggressiveness. ]

[Keith glanced at Red. Being smaller than Black, her shoulder height came up to Keith's waist instead of almost his head. He gave her a small pat.]

It's alright.

[Her stance relaxed only a little with a soft mechanical whine of the joints moving in response. Keith stepped forward as well to meet Nico, and then turned back to face the Lions.]

Come here.

[At that, Red seemed to pull back a little in surprise, but then she approached slowly, definitely sounding like a large robot moving across the cement floor of an underground parking garage.]

See? It's fine.

[That actually got something of a small headtilt from her as her blank glowing yellow eyes peered right at Nico. She was definitely judging him.]

[Black didn't seem to take as much convincing, walking straight over. Black wasn't tiny lion; Black was the one that helped look after the others. Especially if Red was approaching, Black was going to as well]

They aren't used to people other than us for the most part. It's going to take some time for them to get used to this.

[Black stopped next to Shiro, looking at Nico, but it didn't move either to back away or move closer]
