[The video opens with a rather hesitant looking Shiro. There's really nothing behind him as of the moment, but he does glance over at something almost right as the video kicks on]

So... it seems this place just keeps getting weirder. It seems we had some recent arrivals from our world and well... it's better to show you.

[He turned back to whatever he had been looking at]

Come here. You can come here.

[Faintly in the background there was the sound of metal moving off screen then something walked into view of the camera so others could see it. It was quite clearly a black robot lion with glowing yellow eyes, several panels glowing blue, and red wing like protrusions on its back. It's was larger than a normal lion. It walked over and sat down next to Shiro, leaning in as though trying to figure out what he was holding]

This is the Black Lion of Voltron. However, its usually not this... small.

[Yes, he is calling a robot that's larger than a normal lion small]

I'm usually shorter than Black's foot. Let me see it.

[This he says to the lion, which does raise one leg to let Shiro have its foot, but it basically drops all the weight into his hand which makes him flinch]

You are still made of metal and heavy.

[Someone might be able to faintly hear the snickering in the background, but then the next thing that happens is that Keith suddenly fell into the frame of the camera as though shoved by something, a vague red blur before it vanished. Shiro jumped when this happened and the Black Lion got up heading off camera again only to return a moment later carrying a smaller red lion by the "scruff" of the neck as Keith sat up. Shiro just put his chin in his free hand watching as Black carried Red off before he remembered this was still rolling and turned back]

They don't know their own strength.

[ooc: Meet your new neighbors, two of the lions from Voltron! Black is about the size of large liger and Red is the size of a small lion. They are... slightly more active than normal, but will probably be around their specific paladin for the most part.

Either Keith or Shiro is available to answer. If you have a preference or if your character is pinging a specific person, just let us know. It can even be both if you'd like! If no preference, random response.

You can definitely try. Making friends would be a good first step. Do you want to come meet Black?

[If nothing else, the lions needed to get accustomed to being around people]

[She can probably find him because Yuffie is a recovering stalker but she's realized that it isn't polite and it freaks people out.]

It wouldn't be the first machine I made friends with. [She's totally counting Reeve as a Robot.]

We're down in the parking garage at the communal housing. Apparently the lions have their own parking spots down here.

It's not? So befriending machines happens often for you?

Oh cool. I'm near there.

[She raises in a swift motion to her feet.]

At least once before. They're like people but made out of metal right? [She is denying that there is anything weird about any of this.]

[He kind of raises and eyebrow at that]

They're like lions, but made out of metal. They do seem to understand things better than the animal, but I don't think they are capable of something like doing math problems.

Don't bring Math homework, Got it.

[She flashes him another grin before flicking off the feed.

It doesn't take Yuffie a long time to get the garage where they're at. When she arrives she saunters up with a big goofy grin spread across her face. It's exciting to meet a metal lion.]

Hey!

[She waves a hand and then jogs the rest of the way to them.]

[Good thing she wasn't going to bring math homework. Black probably would have ignored it even if capable of doing it.

Shiro was waiting down in the garage when she arrived, Black having wandered back over during the time it took her to get down there. The large robot was sitting next to him, watching her with blank glowing yellow eyes as came over]

Hey. This is the Black Lion of Voltron.

[And he actually doesn't have her name because even though he's talked to her before, it was while wearing a mask]

[Yuffie has never once done homework. She'd never inflict that one someone else.]

Black Lion of Voltron. Am I allowed to shorten that because that's kinda a mouth full. Maybe Blacky or B-Volt. [She asks with a devious grin.]

Name's Yuffie.

[For once she doesn't give a flourished nickname though she does wave her hand in the air and then give a theatrical bow as she gets closer.]

We just call them by their colors. So we call this one is "Black".

[Very original, but the lions didn't seem to mind. Even now, they didn't seem to mind when they were conscious of what was going on around them.

What Black things of those other possible names is hard to tell though.

Shiro does recognize her name however from a conversation that he and Keith had been having during the masquerade. Since that had been a private conversation, he's not mentioning that]

It's nice to meet you, Yuffie.

[Black does get up as she approached and walked over to her. Definitely a LARGE robot lion, nearly reaching Shiro's height and then there are the wings on its back too]

[Yuffie flashes them both her usual grin as she steps closer.]

He's awesome looking!

[She steps close enough to place her hand on the lions head. Yuffie is short and has to reach up to touch the lion's head.]

Does he like being petted?

[Shiro couldn't help a smile when she said that]

I think they do too.

[This earned a purr from Black and a light headbutt to the shoulder. Robot lion saying it likes you can be a little painful]

I don't know. They usually haven't had the option to be pet before.

[But then Black ducked its head and touched it into Yuffie's hand]

Well, I guess you can try.

[Yuffie's smile brightens at the lions actions.]

You're so cool!

[She can't help but be excited. Her hand brushes over the gleaming metal of the Lion's head before she gives it a tight hug.]

We shall be friends. Um... what does he eat?

[Friends clearly bring each other food.]

[That definitely seemed to be the lion's way of saying hello. Not like they could actually say it all. Shiro had been worried initially, but both Red and Black seemed to be doing well with the people coming to see them.

Black doesn't really react outwardly as Yuffie hugs him, but Shiro seemed to pick up on some mild surprise that someone had just hugged a robot lion. Not enough to do anything, but enough that he could tell]

Eat? It's a robot lion.

[Because robots don't eat?]

So? Why can't robots eat?

[Yuffie looks over at Shiro as if this is obvious.]

Because robots don't have a digestive system? Their mouth is actually one of the entrances into the cockpit.
