[Your friendly neighborhood mortician/barista is here, grinning like a loon, hat absent, and he seems... jittery, fingernails taptaptapping the table in front of him in a continuous rhythm. It's almost as though he's had a bit too much coffee. Which he has.]

[He has, and he has lived to regret it, and now he is fidgety and restless and sitting down was probably the worst thing for him at this point. Oops. Forgive his hurried speech.]

It was suggested to me that I test a wider variety of our product at the Coffee Shop than I have to give recommendations based on more than past experience, which for me is more outdated than most of you would care to shake a stick at. I'm well aware. I'm not a fan of coffee, but for your sake, I tried it anyway.

[He makes a face and quickly shakes his head, though the expression is gone almost as soon as it appeared.] I'll say it will deeeeefinitely keep you wide awake, but I'm still not a fan. So sweet. What's the appeal, other than the caffeine aspect? That has to be it, otherwise there's a serious sugar addition going on in the future. The pastries aren't selling this well though and they're plenty sweet. Hm.

[He puts a finger to his lips and taptaptaps there, a little faster than he normally would, and doesn't seem to mind in the least.] How do people operate like this? Feels like I'm about to rattle myself apart.

I'd take the opportunity to do something productive with your time. I found it provides good time for plotting. [Like just how many ways he was going to cut up King Ecbert when he eventually got back home and resumed the war.] Just be warned. You will eventually crash back down. It's not going to be fun.

[Ivar watches Undertaker pace about. That can't be good for a body.] If you think this is bad, I'd avoid sodas then. They produce the same effect with twice the amount of sugar and fizzy stuff. I've found I rather like them.

I wouldn't know. Where I came from, people brushed their teeth on a regular basis. If you lost a tooth, it was generally in battle, not from lack of upkeep.

[Vikings were a particularly clean lot for people living in the Dark Ages. They bathed regularly and brushed their teeth, rather unlike the rest of Europe at the time.]

Who knows what people today are like though?
