[ She was getting pretty lucky the fire didn't do much damage or hurt anyone she knew - that she knew about, anyway. Still, she did spent the majority working on a few different outfits for Bill, as well as a certain doll for a certain Egyptian Pharoah. There's an image with a Marinette sitting on the bed, carefully jotting notes down on a pad before she turns to the feed. ]

Phew. I think I'm really going to have to find a place of my own at this point - I'm used to keeping my workspace to a small area, but... [ Meh. She shook her head a bit. Hopping up, she turned the feed around. ]

I got some outfits done though! And I didn't forget about you Bill- have a look. [ She points at a few different outfits. ]

I was outside the wall recently too, and came across a few snakes - I don't personally LIKE snakes, but they do have some really nice patterned hides. I sketched a few down - I think I'm going to dry making a pair of pants or maybe a dress in that style, if anyone's interested in having something like this.. [ She holds up her pad to show off the sketched design. ]

And I do take requests, naturally. [ She might be heading out there again to try to find new ideas, actually. ]

[ Action for Floormates/Visitors ]
[ After her network announcement, she made her way out to the shared living area to take a break from her sewing, making her way to the kitchen area, checking on the snacks she had been cooking. In fact, the smell of delicious, tasty yummies was filling up the area quite nicely, and Marinette was willing to share with anyone. Ah, well, except for the box she was going to sneak down to Keith as a thank you later. ]

You know, for a second there I thought you were going to start asking people to help you skin the snakes.For the record, don't fucking do that. Animal print is in, but fur and scales are murder.

Nah, if I was the kind of person that would hurt animals for something like that, I wouldn't ask other people to help me do it- I'd do it myself.

[ And if she /was/ the kind of person who would do something like that, she wouldn't listen to someone telling her not to do it, obviously. ]

I am definitely interested in those pants. You got talent that I didn't know about!

[ She grins at that. ]

Sure, come on over, it'd be nice to see you! I kind of went overboard with the baking today - if nothing else I can foist some pastry off on you. [ She adds teasingly. ]

[Yuffie all but shouts as she rises to her feet.]

You still in the same place? Everyone's been moving around lately.

[She's already running up the stairs but it's worth asking.]

[ Whoah - she didn't expect that enthusiastic a response, and she giggles. ]

Yeah, I'm still here, for now. [ She was planning on moving out at some point, just so she'd have more room to work, but that wasn't going to be for a few months yet. ]

Door's open! [ she added, so Yuffie wouldn't feel the need to ..stop her headlong run. ]

[Food is the best way to get Yuffie excited.]

Sweet.

Hiya. [She spoke both on the phone and in person as she walked through the door. She's thinking about moving out to but finding a where is hard. She wants it to be an ideal spot.]

So, these sweets~

[ She chuckled again, putting the phone down as she turned to greet Yuffie. ]

That was quick! Did you actually run all the way here? [ She picked up a box, setting it aside on the counter and motioned to a tray that had about two dozen cookies and several leftover sopapillas that Marinette deemed 'still edible, but not good enough'. ]

Help yourself! They're still warm -- well, most of them are. But they are definitely fresh at least.

[Okay... so 3 dozen sopapillas was a lot, so Keith had separated out some for himself and some for Shiro, and then put the rest in the kitchen on the second floor for others to share. However, he was super grateful, and they were pretty darn amazing, so he grabbed a few extra from the 'share' box, and came up to her floor.

He poked his head in the door, and gave a knock.]

Hey, Marinette? You here?

[ She was glad that he liked them! It had taken a few tries to get it right, so there were a few on a plate on the counter that weren't -quite- as good. Though hearing Keith's voice, she trotted in from the balcony with a smile. ]

Hey Keith~! What's up?

Yes I did. [Yuffie says proudly.

She isn't winded since it is only four flights of stairs. She's used to high activity which is also why she eats a lot.] These look good~ [She spoke as she slips up next to the try and grabs a cookie in each hand.]

And they smell good. [She takes a bit and smiles wider.] And tastes good.

What cha workin' on?

[Yuffie asks in between crumbles of cookies.]

[ She's amused by that proud response. ]

Thanks. That's the last batch I made, so they should still be warm, I think. [ Even better that Yuffie liked the smell and taste even if she was getting crumbs all over the place. ]

Oh, a little of this, a little of that. I'm keeping myself busy, basically - working on different outfits and dolls that I got requests for. Although I'm going to see if I can find a spare mannequin, or make one myself at this rate.

How about you?

[Keith gave her a tiny smile in return, looking a little shy.]

I uh got your delivery.

That was really nice of you.

[ She smiled a bit more, though with a touch of nervousness. ]

You did? That's great! I mean- I wanted to do something nice for you since the whole...

[ She glances back towards the balcony, mentally shuddered, and turned back to Keith with a cough. ] that.

Think nothing of it..! .....

... soooo... how were they? Did they measure up to how you remembered them?

Yeah. They were really good.

[He had a small box with four of them tucked carefully under his arm.]

I was wondering if you wanted to, you know... have a couple with me. They're good with coffee.

[ .. Oh! Oh wow - whatever reason she was pondering Keith might have come to pay a visit, that wasn't it. That was so sweet~. She shuffled her foot a little, nodding. ]

I.. y-yeah, I'd love to..! I mean - that would be really nice. [ Erm. ] You don't mind if I have tea instead, do you? Coffee makes me a little... TOO jittery.

[ Which is obviously a bad thing when she needs to sew things. ]

Um, let me just go put the water on. We can sit on the couch there, or on the balcony if you'd rather. The balcony has a really nice view, though.

Even better when you're not plummeting from it.

Tea is fine.

[He came in now, glancing over at the balcony. She probably had a better view up here than he did down on the second floor.]

Sure, we can go out there. [He smirked a little at her comment.] As long as we don't climb over with some bed sheets, we should be fine.

[ Marinette threw her arms up in an 'awwww' gesture. ]

Well there go my plans for the afternoon ...!

[ She glanced over at Keith, suddenly grinning sheepishly. She really shouldn't joke about something like that - she could have DIED. ]

Sorry, I shouldn't make light of that. Sometimes my sense of humor falls fla-- [ She inwardly cringed, waving a hand as if she could erase that almost pun. ]

Errg-- um... I ... didn't say that either. [ Ahahaha hahah...ah....ha. ]

[The cookies are warm and perfect and for the next two minutes the only sounds coming from Yuffie are the echoes of chewing. When she's ready to talk she has a third cookie in her hand, this one she's eating slower than the first two.]

Workin', getting around, being sneaky, bugging Yutto. You know, the usual.

[She flashes her friend a warm grin.]

How hard will it be to find a mannequin?

[Yuffie can't imagine that it'll be that difficult but then, she really doesn't know.]

[ Marinette chuckles a bit, though she coughs a little awkwardly - yeaah after the first time she had seen Yuffie curled up in bed with Yuuto the topic of her roommie was one she tried to avoid, generally. AWKwarrd. Instead she turns to the kettle, which had been brewing some tea, to pour a cup for Yuffie. She'd get some honey or milk if she wanted it too. ]

Well, mannequins aren't really sold in stores, so it'll come down to seeing if any of the shopkeepers are willing to part with a spare one. But at the same time, it might be easier to alter one if I just get the parts. [ It would just take up a lot of her time. ]

[Yuuto is cute and his bed is comfortable. Yuffie doesn't see anything wrong with it though she knew that Yuuto had no particular interest in her. It's sad but expected per Yuffie's history.

She perks up when she sees Marinette brewing tea. Tea is by far one of Yuffie's favorite drinks and she doesn't think it needs anything added to it.]

What parts make up a mannequin?

[There are some weird thoughts going through yuffie's head as she guesses what could make one of those creepy plastic figures.]

[Keith looked a little surprised, but nodded all the same.]

No, it's fine. I've heard worse.

[Hunk could come up with some pretty crazy puns sometimes.]

It's probably a good thing you haven't met ....a friend of mine, back home.

[ Marinette chuckled, padding over to prepare their drinks, and then nodded over to the balcony. ]

Come on, let's go sit. You'll see what I mean for yourself, about the view.

[ Marinette was pretty forward thinking herself, but Yuffie took that to a 500. ]

Welll, I guess it depends on how realistic you need it to look and what parts you need. There's the full figure model, and half body models - the full figure is...well, the full figure. Usually standing in some kind of pose or other.

[ With Yuffie thusly served, Marinette made a cup for herself too. ]

So, the head, half of the arms, the bust is usually the main part.

But does that mean it'll only be one size?

[She finishes her cookie before grabbing a fourth and settling in with her tea.]
