[ She was getting pretty lucky the fire didn't do much damage or hurt anyone she knew - that she knew about, anyway. Still, she did spent the majority working on a few different outfits for Bill, as well as a certain doll for a certain Egyptian Pharoah. There's an image with a Marinette sitting on the bed, carefully jotting notes down on a pad before she turns to the feed. ]

Phew. I think I'm really going to have to find a place of my own at this point - I'm used to keeping my workspace to a small area, but... [ Meh. She shook her head a bit. Hopping up, she turned the feed around. ]

I got some outfits done though! And I didn't forget about you Bill- have a look. [ She points at a few different outfits. ]

I was outside the wall recently too, and came across a few snakes - I don't personally LIKE snakes, but they do have some really nice patterned hides. I sketched a few down - I think I'm going to dry making a pair of pants or maybe a dress in that style, if anyone's interested in having something like this.. [ She holds up her pad to show off the sketched design. ]

And I do take requests, naturally. [ She might be heading out there again to try to find new ideas, actually. ]

[ Action for Floormates/Visitors ]
[ After her network announcement, she made her way out to the shared living area to take a break from her sewing, making her way to the kitchen area, checking on the snacks she had been cooking. In fact, the smell of delicious, tasty yummies was filling up the area quite nicely, and Marinette was willing to share with anyone. Ah, well, except for the box she was going to sneak down to Keith as a thank you later. ]

Nah, if I was the kind of person that would hurt animals for something like that, I wouldn't ask other people to help me do it- I'd do it myself.

[ And if she /was/ the kind of person who would do something like that, she wouldn't listen to someone telling her not to do it, obviously. ]

Good to know. Some people are too afraid to do their own dirty work- though I guess... they'd probably also argue that they're too smart to do it themselves if they can make somebody else do it. [ Yuri shrugs, puffing up his cheeks a little and leaning back, slinging one arm behind his head, gaze clipping away from the camera, before back to her. ]

You make clothes often? The stuff you've got is pretty cool. [ And look, Yuri is a very "fashionable" teenager, and he's always on the lookout for new sick duds. Now, custom new sick duds? That would be amazing. ]

[ She wrinkles her nose a little. ] Yeah.. I know the type.

[ Fortunately the topic shifts onto something more pleasant, and she nods with a pleased smile, blushing a little at the compliment to the outfit. She glances away from the camera briefly to glance at one of the outfits, and then back to Yuri. ]

Yeah, actually. I'm going to be a designer once I graduate school -- back home I mean -- at least that's the plan. So I'm going to use as much time I have here to get experience making and designing new outfits.

I really like the leggings you're designing. You get around to making them, I'll buy a pair for sure. I like animal print patterns.

[ As if that wasn't obvious in the video; he's probably got a lion on his shirt and leopard print on his sweater and on and on and on. Kid is a big fan, needless to say. ]

You ever design costumes?

Like Halloween costumes? Yeah, I made all my own outfits when I did that kind of thing. If you're talking something flashier - i haven't really needed to, but it's not something I can't do. What kind of costume are you looking for?
