I've been thinking a lot about how this place could be seen as a second chance. I wanted to ask... what would you do with that second chance? I know a lot of people want to find their way home but if you didn't, what then?

[She knows that it's an intrusive question and that maybe no one will respond but she's curious.]

Then you make a home here.

[That's the plan anyway, even if this was only some temporary holding until they move on to bigger and better things.]

That's what I thought but I'm not even sure how to do that.

You find out where you fit in. Get a job you hopefully enjoy, make friends. Start putting down roots, I guess.

It happens so gradually you don't even see it coming, usually.

Sometimes the things we need aren't the same as the things we look for. I used to be so sure about everything that I did but in the end, well, things didn't go the way I thought I would.

In order to keep going, you need hope that it'll be alright. How do you find that?
