Why?

choosing just one single favorite in all situations across all time is just so limiting
like funnel cake is great at a fair
but cold popsicles are the best thing on earth on a hot day
and popcorn is good if there's a movie on
but gummy worms are ideal if you're on hour 10 of some huge project and just need a perfect sugar rush

Is there a reason you enjoy worms?

oh no.

[ Nope he has got to remedy this he should have assumed someone who had never had ice cream before wouldn't know what a gummy worm is. He quickly goes to the not so secret candy drawer in his workshop and, fortunately, there's a bag there, which he slaps onto the counter and photographs quickly so he can send a snapshot of the brightly-colored candies and explain ]

they're not actually worms at all
they're chewy candy
just kinda in the shape of worms for some reason

(& what did people eat wherever you're from if they didn't have ice cream OR gummy worms???)

We ate a variety of things. Though they were not in the shape of cones or insects. Or vines.

now that i'm thinking about it there's a whole lot of candy in the shape of other things
there's some called swedish fish - i don't know if they're swedish but they're definitely not fish
and there are gummy bears and sharks too

Is it common here to make food appear different from what you expect?

i don't know about common
it's only really very specific kinds of candy
and i guess novelty cakes

'contact me' sounds super formal and kinda seems like i'm telling you what to do
