There are parallels. We have cake too, although it's different. Not as sweet. And no frosting or sprinkles.

Some cakes and treats are too sweet, I find, so that doesn't sound like a bad thing. the ones they make for children always seem to be too sugary...

Sokovia. Is it on Earth? Or another planet?

No. Not another planet. But it is hidden from the world of men.

Sokovia. Please tell me more.

Our island is concealed from the outside world. A gift of protection from the gods.

[divulsion]

Oh, I see. It must have been very peaceful for you there...

[Sheltered, perhaps, though Wanda can't help but be envious about that. Sokovia was far from protected by the gods when she was growing up. Protected by anyone at all, really.]

It was.

[ diana misses her home, even if she doesn't regret leaving. it was a difficult yet necessary decision that she would repeat, all over again. ]

I assume Sokovia is on Earth as well.

It is, in Eastern Europe. It's...war torn. But home. I haven't been there in almost two years now.
