video | un: undertaker
[Undertaker pops on screen, looking like his usual self. Smiles all around, hair veiling his eyes, dark though not black clothing. He has mastered the phone-thing as of some time ago, but he hasn't had any real reason to need to use it until now.]
[Now, he has a message.]
I understand there's to be a special holiday coming up around these parts. Hygge, it's called. They say it's about family and friends, whoever you might be.
[He shrugs, grinning a little more, and though it might look wild on him, it's not entirely unfriendly.] So here's what I'd like to do. Some of you know me from the little cafe on the corner, some of you don't at all. If or not we've ever met and you feel so inclined, I've a kitchen in my house what needs using and a want to make all the hot cocoa we can handle. Stop on by and I'll welcome you to a cup of it.
[He has directions for the house, if anyone needs it. Then, with a tip of his hat, Undertaker ends the feed, leaving the invitation open to any who might take it.]

I suppose... if you're sure I won't be sick again. I trust you.
no subject
You won't be. I'll let you decide when, but let me walk you through this.
no subject
Not during the holiday, at least. [Beyond that, he's not sure.]
no subject
Not during the holidays. [This place has at least one a month, it seems, but he figures Ciel means the holidays they're used to having in their world.] Try not to fret about it. Do you think people would continue to drink what they do if all it did for them was to make them sick as dogs?
no subject
I suppose not. Herr von Siemens certainly managed not to make himself sick after all he drank.
no subject
You see? It was only a bad experience you had, but we can change that.
no subject
As long as you're there, it can't be bad. [He genuinely believes that lately.]
no subject
Ah, my lord, it won't be. You'll feel a pleasant buzz, be a little numb all over, a bit warm, loosen your tongue, then you'll sleep and when you wake, your head may hurt a little, but it won't last long, and that will be the worst of it. Myself, I'm quite looking forward to hearing your laugh, if you do. [He was willing to bet the boy would. He'd been more than a little pleasant while he was drunk the first time, but too tired to do much with it.]
no subject
I laugh already. Not all of that sounds very pleasant though. [The idea of feeling numb concerns him a touch.]
no subject
[He grinned, giggling softly.] What's not to love about that?
no subject
That does sound kind of nice, at least.
no subject
You can put your trust in me, milord. I'll not let you regret this.
no subject
I always trust you, so that won't be hard.

To an extent, let's be honest. You trusted me not to lie to you about certain tips I had to give, so long as you could make me laugh.
no subject
More than I trusted anyone else, at least.
no subject
Did you really? I think you jest. You certainly didn't look at me like you trusted me on the Campania.
no subject
[Sort of.] And those dolls did nearly kill Elizabeth and I... And we nearly froze as the ship started sinking. I was cross.
[He had been so sick after.]

I trusted you enough otherwise to ever let you close. [To even touch him.]

I'm... kind of glad it went like it did. I like how things went, even if it was a bit rough. You didn't treat me differently from how you did before.
no subject
What reason would I have to treat you any differently? You and I are who we are back home and that's how I've always known you.
no subject
I'm sure, between us both, we could think of any number of reasons.
