[T'Challa does not put on the Panther Habit for his first post to the network, preferring to keep the two identities separate for as long as possible. For the duration of his stay, if he can manage it, though it's not he who would tell the others. He cannot vouch for the people from his own world that are here. Not all of them, at least.

He angles his device to capture his face and very little of his surroundings.]

In my culture, death is not the end. It's more of a stepping off point. You reach out with both hands and Bast and Sekhmet, they lead you into the green veld where... you can run forever.

[He'd been told upon his arrival, after many questions, that he was here because he'd felt displaced. While that had not necessarily been true, the thought that this place was something other than what it seemed had crossed his mind. The afterlife possibly, though he did not recall dying - his beliefs dashed that notion rather quickly.]

So this cannot be life after death. Do you accept the answers you have been given or do you challenge them? What was the outcome of such action?

[The striking similarities to the Natasha he does know give him pause. His eyes flick from feature to feature, discerning where those similarities end and if there are enough to question her about it. He decides that there aren't. Looking like someone else wasn't uncommon.]

If what they say aligns with what happens, then they do not give us reason to question their motives.

[The second to last comment is an uncomfortable one and if he had Wakandan technology, he would help them to fix their portals. He may still be able to.]

But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't. That said, I haven't found much, and I've been working out past the gate.

[She's not a particularly trusting individual, but she hasn't been able to find much to worsen her sense of suspicion, so there's that.]

You're from Wakanda?

[There's a look in her eyes; recognition, interest. Doesn't necessarily mean he's from the sort of world she knows, but it's something anyway. She's resisting the urge to ask questions. For the moment, anyway.]

Most of it's public, or easy enough to find out. Tony Stark works with City Hall, so he might know some more of the bureaucratic angle. [Very gently testing to see if it's something he recognizes.]

I just liaison with the Perimeter Guard. Work on the power grid and transportation system in the abandoned areas.

[He sees that recognition and interest, mirrors it back in his own expression. Besides those from his world, he hasn't met anyone that knows of Wakanda that he wasn't already acquainted with in some way.]

Do you know of Wakanda?

I will ask Tony Stark about this then. I was assigned to the Perimeter Guard as well. Do you like your position there?

[This is interesting, because as much as everyone she's met from her world hasn't recognized her, she's always known them. But she doesn't know him. And that's new. She locks the feed mostly because she tries to avoid saying anything interesting out in the open.]

A little. I know they were an isolationist nation in Africa. SHIELD at one point labeled it a possible hotbed for abnormal activity, but as far as I know nothing much came of it. There was some noise about someone selling Vibranium, but nothing anyone seemed to be able to confirm, either. Rumors and shadows, mostly.

[Ultron wasn't something she'd experienced, they hadn't yet tried to take a place in the world.]

The Perimeter Guard is decent. I know some good people that work there. Personally, I don't do well reporting to people I don't trust, so I'm more of a liason slash contractor. I have my projects and I sort of negotiate for resources and the like.
