[When Yu arrived, he barely had a chance to get his bearings before being tossed into whole orientation thing, the job, his living situation and everything that's been going on. He was taken to the address where he was situated in these dire(?) circumstances. He didn't mind communal living. In fact- he wished he could've lived with his friends like this back in Inaba. All in one place, chatting whole day and night.

But... he thought it was slightly unbecoming of him to just completely pass out after drinking his tea and having small chat with Ed. So, today, he had different agenda in mind.
Yu remembered seeing a convenience store on his way here, relatively close, so he took a small shopping trip. Mooching off of his floormates is not nice. And then he spent the morning cooking. Or rather, baking.

While the treats are in the oven, he turned on the video feed.]

So... I've never done anything like this before. It's all new for me. [A pause.] I want to apologize to the people that live on 6th floor, I didn't properly greet them when I arrived, [he scratched back of his head.] I think I was a bit too overwhelmed after the arrival so I was out of it until this morning. So yeah, hi! I'm Yu Narukami. I'm very pleased to meet you all!

At least you're making an effort to meet your roommates? I haven't really talked with mine yet. [A moments pause.] I'm on floor ten.

[Does Yu need to give Makoto a lecture on bonds? He thought Igor's lectures were enough.]

I've only been here a few weeks.

[It would probably be more engaging than Igor's lectures, at least.]

[Yu waits for Makoto to arrive before he continues "lecture". He's sitting in the kitchen, chin propped on palm of his hand.]

The least you can do is introduce yourself. They'll think you're a visitor.

Makoto lets out a little groan.]

I've been getting used to school here. And I've been sleeping there, I hope they don't think I'm visiting.

[Yu nudges the chair with his foot, silently inviting Makoto to sit down.]

Still, it won't hurt to make a friend or two while here. You might meet someone interesting.

[Fiiiine...

But not before he grabs a cookie. Then he sits.]

I've met people. Just... not quite friends yet, probably.

[The plate is on the table. He can have as much as he wants.

Just don't get sick from too much sweet.]

Well, you have to start somewhere.

[He won't get sick. Gosh.]

I'll get there. It took me a little while to warm up to the rest of S.E.E.S.

[Yu smiles, chin leaned on the palm of his hand. Well, they are slightly different when it comes to people, that's fine.]

So? Are they any good? The cookies I mean.

[Well, now he smiles.]

They're great. Don't tell but worlds better than what Fuuka would make me.

Oho, a blackmail information. [Yu teases lightly.

Of course, he'd never get Makoto in a troublesome situation. He takes one of the cookies himself and nibbles through it.]

Ah. I thought they would be too sweet.

[He'll know exactly who ratted him out. Careful, Yu.]

Mm, no. They're great. [Reeeaches for another.] Don't suppose you know how to make takoyaki too?

[Makoto can but he's a little curious about what Yu would do with that.]

[But that's the point!]

Yes, I could make it. But I don't have the recipe with me. I don't know remember all the ingredients that go into it.

[He can prepare most of the food, some even with a curious, tasty twist. Nothing like Mystery Food X though.]

[He'll get Jack Frost back someday and just snowball your face.]

I bet we could figure it out if we put our minds to it.

[Makoto won't mind curious twists on flavor. He's tried a lot of dubious looking food.]

[Yu already has Jack Frost. Watch your back Makoto.]

Then sure. I don't mind cooking it for you.

[No need to worry, his food never turns out like Chie's or Yukiko's even when improvising.]

[Nothing fancy but he had to survive somehow. Except when he got sick after that typhoon.]

Excellent! [Maybe he's way too enthusiastic about this than he should be...

He leans back in the chair,] Hmmm. Having someone who can actually cook to help me out. It feels so odd.

[Yu laughs and waves his hand-] I'm so used to food going awry that I keep planning ahead how to fix it.

We all kind of... managed in the dorm. Until Shinjiro moved in, he did a lot of cooking since he was good at it. Before and after though...

[It spared them food poisoning from Fuuka's earliest attempts.]

Let's hope we don't have to do that then.

[Is it some kind of curse that the girls end up not being able to cook?

Yu leans chin on palm of his hand with an amused smile-]

Well, if you are as good as you say, we won't have any problems.

[He's teasing Minato, of course.]

[Only the girls protagonists lives.]

Guess there's only one way to find out, huh? [Stealing another cookie.

Look, he has a fast metabolism, he needs the food.]

[Well- Makoto can have the whole plate if he wants. Yu can pack those up for him.]

I'm looking forward to it.

So am I. Especially since we get to eat it then.

[Yu is the best, Makoto couldn't ask for more.]
